I've been wearing New Balance running shoes religiously for work for years now, but being in a warehouse I want to start wearing safety toe boots with ankle support. I footbed is removable, I prefer to use Easy Feet insoles. I also changed out the laces for something slightly elastic. Also the laces that come with the boots are kind of squeaky and don't tighten smoothly. That's really my only complaint. Compared to their running shoes, these aren't nearly as comfortable, but for work boots they are quite comfortable. There's good range of movement in the ankles while still being supportive. I wear metatarsal pads with them, but don't have any foot pain wearing these for 8 hour shifts. There was a small break-in period, but nothing to write home about. I also really like the color. The orange and blue really stand out on the brown model (I also use blue laces). And scuffs don't show on the dark shade of brown so they still look in great condition after over a month of wear. They may also be waterproof. I was standing outside in light rain for about twenty minutes and my feed stayed dry. ... show more

These were a great choice. It did take three days for the sold indicate I need to put a better cushion so inside. Once I did, they become more than just comfortable. It’s like walking on clouds. Plenty of those at work have been acting questions about my shoes, even though they are a size 15 wide, they fit the job and a strong purpose of keeping me comfortable walking on concrete all day. I really like these work shoes. I was wanting something for woodworking projects and something that would protect my toe. I like work boots but they’re so bulky and heavy. These are lighter much more comfortable and easier to wear with shorter socks. They are very comfortable and cushy right out of the box, but I imagine they will take some time to break in. They have a wedge on the back of the heel that I thought initially looked kind of funny but actually it’s very easy to step on it and pull the boot off with your other foot. So it works out actually quite good. I’m gonna try these for a while and see how they do but for what I need it will work just fine. They do run big so I usually take about 11 1/half and I had to get several sizes before I decided on the 10 1/2. So you might have to get two pairs and try them on and then return the other one. Ok I deliver for Amazon and I was looking for a shoe that looked a little fashionable and comfortable to do delivery work ( high mileage worthy ) ! I saw these ( New Balance) and purchased (size 13 wide). When I received I was excited until I opened the box, lol 🚢🚢 HUGE!!! But I liked them so I was like they are New Balance and they may be huge but they look nice. I wore the for a shift and had to return! Comfortable shoe but buy size smaller . - Definitely are bigger than your normal wear, if you’re a12 then choose a 10 it was like that for me. - The composite feels strong and protects very well your toes. - The corners of the composite that are closer to your toes, makes it a little uncomfortable to work with, like if it pinches it, I guess it’s a thing that could be fixed with time and use. - It’s super comfortable to stay stand with this for hours (except for the composite detail mention above). - Color and shape is great build, the texture feels strong and durable, great style. - Water resistant but not oil, definitely slip resistant. - The shoe sole is glued not stitched.
