Just got it and so far so good. It is in great condition. No real dings or scratches. Maybe one or two very fine scratches but it looks almost new. I’ve only had it for a couple of hours but so far it works well. I’m very happy with my purchase. I didn’t use the power adapter that came with it. I bought my own separate one because I read several reviews that said they sent the wrong adapter and it shorted out the computer so to be safe I bought my own. My partner and I were so excited to open this laptop and get everything set up. It looked perfect coming out of the package and worked until we had to actually type. The keyboard itself LOOKS fine, but the delete button made an equal sign and the return button didn’t work. Several keys made incorrect characters and double characters appear. “P” was “PU” and “7” was “70.” Never seen anything like it. So just as fast as we’d unpacked this laptop, we have to return it. Talk about disappointing. We won’t be getting a replacement out of fear that the next one will have similar issues. It’s just not worth the time, money, or energy. ... show more

Bought this for school ‘cause we were on a budget and HAD to have a Mac Book for 2D Design. we thought it was perfect. It works and runs well but the battery doesn’t last longer than maybe 3 hours. If you plan on using it for long periods of time definitely invest in a portable charger. This mac book will probably last me one class at most without the charger. ... show more

I thought I had a good deal with this laptop but turned out I should have returned it. It was a bit tricky transferring my old laptop onto the new one and it took a trip to the Mac store to get it figured out - maybe that was my limitations showing. Shortly after getting it set up it began to run very hot! It was hard to hold on my lap because it got so hot and also made a whirring noise which I found out on YouTube that it was probably the fan that either needed cleaned or replaced etc. etc. I did purchase a service policy but haven't found a place to use it.
