I bought this to wear while taking my kids trick or treating since I just wanted to be comfortable. The hood part is great- since it started to drizzle and kept my hair from getting wet while walking around. I ordered a large (5’4, 175 with very large bust) and it fit just fine with room for leggings and and under shirt for added warmth. I’m sure you wouldn’t need all that if you are just wearing around the house. The large was perfect since it was a little loose and I could wear layers, I suggest sizing down if you wanted a more ‘fitted’ look with this for whatever reason. ... show more

I'm female, 5'10" but very slender. I only weigh about 130 and ordered a large. I was nervous since all the other reviews were for shorter heavier customers and i dont normally order a large. But the length is perfect. Only complaint i could make is the sleeves were a hair too long and I can see if I was heavier it might pull a bit in the back when sitting. This item arrived today, so I haven't "field-tested" it yet, but I wanted to comment on sizing, for anyone looking to buy one before Halloween. I'm 5'7", 160 pounds, and male (I mention this because these aren't listed as unisex as far as I can tell). I chose the XL size. This fits over my normal clothes but is a tad tight with the clothes on. I honestly was kinda hoping for a little bit more wiggle room, and haven't decided yet if I will need to return these. The crotch rides up pretty high, and may become an issue. Perhaps with out pants or a shirt on they would be a little more baggy. The material is a lot thinner than I was expecting, but it seems well made. I wore it for a few minutes, and despite the thin material, I did feel like I was getting a bit warm, so if you wear clothes underneath, I think it'll keep you pretty comfortable if outside. If inside, you may not want too many layers. I'm planning on using this costume for a drive-in movie, so I'll be outside, which is why I wanted something baggy with room underneath for layers (don't necessarily want to put a jacket *over* the costume and ruin the effect). Overall, i'd say it's a good buy, if not a little on the pricey side for what you get. ... show more
