I have bought several hot brushes and this is by far the best one. I use it daily, but it takes a bit to heat all the way and I still have to use my straightener in parts. I have mobile issues so it is better than straightening all of my hair.

I gave this 3 stars because of the location of the on/off button. I kept accidentally pressing the off button as I was styling my hair. I returned it for this reason. When it was 'on' it worked great!

Being totally honest I have tried quite a few different versions of these types of “hot brushes” from various brands and I have not really been impressed with any of them…until now that is! This Paul Mitchell Neuro Sleek Smoothing Hot Brush is everything I wanted from a hot brush. The bristles are plastic and hard, but they don’t rip your hair out. You can get a somewhat sleek look by just brushing this from roots to ends like it’s a brush. Or you can get volume and even add a bit of a wave or flip if you go from underneath. The quality is great and it feels solidly made, and it helps a good deal with any frizz. It won’t get your hair as sleek as a hair straightener would, but that’s the point. You can achieve a more natural but still well kept and slightly polished look. Highly recommend! ... show more

I’m IMPRESSED! I never straighten my hair because it takes way too long and leaves time for my toddlers to create chaos while I’m busy. This took me, I’m not even kidding, five minutes to straighten all of my hair and that’s including the time I stopped to take pics when I was halfway done. The first pic shows my hair before vs after using this straightening brush on half of my head, the second shows after using it (I have naturally frizzy hair, the frizz on top isn’t the fault of the product and I’m super inexperienced LOL!). Then I decided to use it on my 3 year old (photos 3 and 4 are before and after), it was super easy and I wasn’t afraid of burning her because the warm parts aren’t against her head. It was just like brushing her hair slowly and she really liked it! I’m excited to start being able to actually straighten my hair finally and save so much time.
