I have long, thick hair that means it can take an hour or more to fully blow out. The first time I used this dryer, it immediately shaved about 20 minutes off my dry time. Then I sat back and waited. One day, two days, 3 days. My style last for 4.5 days before I washed it. That included the waves and curls I created during my blowout. On Day 3 it looked even better than Day 1. I have never in my life spent more than $60 on a blow dryer, but it was money well spent. I do wish it had separate speed and temperature options, but the model with those has terrible reviews. I love the power cord. It's really long and thick and round, so it won't get kinked all the time. It's pretty quiet as dryers of this size go, and I don't know how people are having issues switching the power and speed buttons accidentally while in use. It hasn't happened to me at all, and it's really not even close to happening. If this thing lasts, it'll be my favorite blow dryer ever. ... show more

    • Awesome hairdryer especially for thick hair.
This hairdryer is really great for me because I have very thick long hair. It does a much better job of straightening & quickly drying with it's powerful blower. Love this!!!

I've only had this dryer for one year, and it's already stopped working, which is disappointing, because I love Paul Mitchell products. Plus, it was very expensive.

Got it so my daughter would stop using my 20 year old drug store hair dryer. After a few weeks uses, she begged me to take it so she can have the "good" one back. This dries hair, and is fine, but the one I used as a teenager (Conair) at less than half the price has more functionality. Sigh.

    • A Great Dryer!
I first tried this dryer while staying in a hotel. It made my naturally curly hair very smooth and dried it fast. I can actually use this with a round brush for a blowout. It's expensive but not as much as a Dyson or even a Shark. Very happy with my purchase.

I previously had a Shark ionic, and frankly I hated it, so I wasn’t disappointed when it just zip zap shorted out one day so I could get off that stupid ionic bandwagon. What I disliked the most was how heavy it was, and oddly weighted in its heaviness. So when I saw one of the main features of this dryer was that it was light I was sold. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it IS very light, and shaped like a regular ole hairdryer. Even better is that the diffuser (I have curly hair) folds down flat, so it’s perfect for travel. Sometimes it does start to fold down when I’m using it but I just quickly pull it back out. Most importantly, this dryer dries my hair quickly and well, with no frizzies. It gets HOT! I use it on the lowest and 2nd lowest settings and it’s plenty hot on both. It definitely dries significantly better than the Shark. I do wish the cord was thinner, and the buttons aren’t easy to push without moving the dryer away and looking at it, but overall I highly recommend it. ... show more

The reason I love it so much, is because I have such thin, fine, straight hair! I put mousse & gel & rollers in it & then blow it dry & it gives me awesome volume!
