The technology built into this little dryer is amazing. I have short, wavy hair with a huge cowlick I am always fighting to hide. I just put the diffuser up to my hair, rest it on my scalp & boom…. I wrote a previous poor review but am revising due to my positive experience with Dyson customer service.. I made an operational error that the customer service rep helped me with. Very responsive customer service and wonderful product. The hair dryer cut my drying time quite a bit, is easy to use, and once I adjusted heat setting, my hair feels better too. ... show more

I purchased this hair dryer thinking I was in for a treat. I was extremely wrong. Not only did I receive a dryer that was so clearly used, with stains all over it and the attachments it came with, but the inner box was also torn open. It was very disappointing. This dryer was $500…for that I would’ve thought I’d at least gotten a brand new one, at the very least. And if you have longer, thicker hair that has to be dried in sections, this is not the dryer for you. It leaves your hair looking uneven looking once it’s dried. There was no shine at all, and the fly away attachment doesn’t work. I will go back to my $30 one. ... show more

First and foremost, this is a GREAT hairdryer and well worth the cost. It leaves my hair less frizzy, more manageable, and dries my hair so much quicker than any other hair dryer I have used before. The reason this doesn't get a five star is that this is my second hair dryer because the first one died 25 months after I got it. Just one month past the manufacture warranty and you can't get a good warranty on this item. This is pricey but worth the expense if this item lasted. It turned out that the dust and hair got into the intake (Even though I clean the filter) and wouldn't allow this to work anymore. ... show more
