This amazing Netvue Birdfy bird feeder and camera was super easy to set up. I have it mounted on a pole in my backyard and see that a wide variety of birds frequently visit the feeder. This feeder is sturdy and holds a good amount of bird seed. I like that it is also easy to clean!

This is an updated review after using it for a month. Initially, the AI was pretty sketchy. It’s improved quite a bit in the month or so that we’ve had it. The customer service is very responsive. The camera quality is very good and the anti-squirrel system works pretty well. The wi-if connection seems to be really good, too. Update: I noticed recently that the performance issues I was having now seem to be resolved. (I do see a newer version of the app was released). This feeder is really nice, it's really fun to check to see what feathered friends are regular visitors. The AI feature is handy, correctly identifying the various birds that stop by daily. I'm quite happy with this now, I would recommend buying one (I have mine connected to a solar panel and have never had to recharge the battery) Original Post: While the build and camera are nice, the application (on Android, Samsung S20) is incredibly poor. Nearly half of the captured images won't play and simply say "Download Failed. Please check your network status and try again". There's no network issue, it doesn't matter which Internet provider I'm on. If they eventually fix the app it might be worthwhile, but at the current time this device is an unfortunate waste of money. ... show more

I love the Birdfy. I have other Netvue security cameras and decided on this one since I was familiar with the setup. I had an issue with the SD card holder and when I contacted customer service they sent me a whole new set up. It’s been entertaining watching all the birds show up. It’s also interesting to see all the other bird varieties on the Birdfy community from around the world! I’m not an overly tech person but this is very easy to set up and I can monitor everything from the app on my phone. Photos and videos are great.
