I was hesitant to order a scanner with CMOS Sensor instead of laser, because the ones I've tried before were not able to scan barcodes that were close to each other. For instance I have a sheet of paper, which has about 20 barcodes printed on it and if I wanted to scan one from the middle, it was impossible, because more than one barcode was in the field of view of the scanner, and it was randomly chosen which one ended up being scanned. This scanner however (NetumScan Bluetooth 2D Barcode Scanner) is perfectly scans exactly the one I'm aiming at, even if there are other barcodes in its field of view. The aim is also guided with a red light (line) which is very helpful. I've tried it via USB cable attached to a computer, via the included WiFi connector wirelessly, and via Bluetooth connected to my iPhone. All were working perfectly fine. Despite what the information says about being generally compatible with square it is not. I emailed the company for their supposed debug support and was told that it will not work with square. INFORMATION THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL. They did respond quickly but I'm still out on the time shipping things here and back and here again with a different scanner. zebra ls2208 or honeywell 1250g are next to try. ... show more

I love this cordless scanning tool. I can use it wirelessly or wired and it does charge while charging. On a full charge I have scanning 50+ items with a long wait time in between scans and haven’t come close to exhausting the battery.

This scanner started off doing its job, after a good month of using it, it started to double scan bar codes that was next to each other, which made my job even more difficult. I was having to go back and double work. I need a reliable fast scanner that doesn’t read bar codes that’s side by side.
