  • Great connectivity!
Style: AX5400 Size: 2 Pack
100% love love love! Really does extend the wifi! Easy set up. Put the router in one room and the 2nd piece (the extender) at the other end of the house. Works great! I would definitely recommend.

  • Very good system for my house
Style: AX5200 Size: 3 Pack
I replaced an older set of Orbi's (slower) with this new set. They are must faster and give me the full band width of my provider through out my home. Setup was easy as I had a learning curve from my original set. I did experience one problem: I have a long house. My internet connection comes into one end of the house. I set the main router there and put two satellite units inline down the centerline of the house. The second satellite unit (furthest away from the main unit) does not connect to the intermediate placed unit. Rather it connects to the main router--sometimes with 'good' reception and other times with 'poor' reception. After a couple of hours with Orbi tech help, I found out that the satellite units always tries to connect to the main router, even if another satellite is providing a stronger signal--supposedly 'this provides a faster connection.' Do not understand why this is the case since I do get a 'poor' connection to the main router at times on the second satellite unit. Looks like I wasted my money on getting a second satellite unit. Even with this problem, I am getting full bandwidth throughout the house. ... show more

  • Worst Product Purchase 2024...By Far!
Style: AX5400, Armor Size: 3 Pack
The worst product I purchased in 2024. While the coverage was decent when it worked, it was completely unreliable. Setup not as easy as others. In the first month, unstable, it disconnected multiple times in my 5,000-square-foot home, to be fair, a couple were weather related. The issue was not only that it disconnected but that it wouldn't regain a connection without hours of attention. I had to call their help desk repeatedly and even purchase a year-long support package. Every time it disconnected, I had to go through a tedious reset process involving their portal, DNS changes, and other technical steps I didn’t care to learn about. One time, I spent 12 hours on the phone just to restore my internet—not just the Orbi extenders, but my entire internet connection was affected due to the changes recommendedby the "help" desk. I own Arlo cameras, which have been flawless for over five years, but these Orbis were a nightmare. Unfortunately, I missed the 30-day return window by a week, so I am stuck with $400 worth of oversized paperweights. I eventually switched to Eeros and couldn’t be happier. Even after power outages, the internet and all my smart devices—Samsung Hub, Amazon Alexas, Arlo cameras, Google Nest cameras, Ecobee thermostats, lights, and plugs—reconnect seamlessly when the power is restored. I would never recommend this version of the Orbi extender to anyone. ... show more

  • Best wifi in my opinion
Style: AX5400, Armor Size: 2 Pack
The design on this is great it will work small places , the speed and signal strength is a lot better, notifications of connectivity so that makes the security amazing because you can deny access from your phone and most importantly the set up was easy.

  • I like the product, but customer support deserted me.
Style: AX5400, Armor Size: 3 Pack
Installing a new wireless router means that all the wi-fi devices connected to the old network need to be updated with the new network and new password. No problem, we know how to do that. Everything works, the new network has a lot better coverage than the old WAP except for... I have a combination printer scanner that worked perfectly on the old wireless network and now the printer works with Netgear, but the scanner is not recognized. I called Customer Support and after an hour on the phone that said, it's not our problem! Contact the printer manufacturer. I pushed back and said the only change is the network, so it must be your problem. Still didn't get an answer and so I had to find a long printer to USB cable to make it work. Not what I wanted, but that was all I could manage. No help from Customer Support. ... show more

  • Tri Band Mesh solved all my issues
Style: AX3000 Size: 3 Pack
I'm not a IT geek but I have an electronics background (aircraft avionics systems and telemetry) and I had recently decided to get rid of my cable box and go to streaming serivces. Even though I had increased my internet speed to(500Mbps) to support 4k UHD which is overkill for my house hold (I was having constant issues with buffering on my streaming services, signal drop-outs on my cell phones and my computers running slower than normal on the internet. My internet speed tests were consistently down between 20Mbps to 75Mbps and occassionally would run at 150Mbps. Cable guy came out (service center said it was my lines) said that their Router and Modem weren't the best and recomended that I go to a Mesh System. I went with this Orbi Wifi 6 mesh system with two satellite units. My Wifi Speeds are consistently at 540Mbps or higher depending on where I am in the house, no buffering, no drop outs, no poor wifi connections when wifi calling! Fantasic phone app that allows me to track Wifi Performance room by room, . I still have the stock cable modem from the serivce provider which I will be replacing with an equivalent Motorola Wifi-6 cable modem to match the performance of the router both the Orbi and Motorola are compatible with WPA3 technology when it becomes the standard. My streaming services are humming in 4KUHD. Worth every penny. One drawback is zero setup documentation other than a quick set up guide. My system didn't set up so quickly, and there was no documentation to explain what the different color light indications meant. So being a little tech savy helps. I finally figured it out how to get all three units to synchronize after an hour. Still well worth the learning curve Money well spent. ... show more
