I originally used a Nighthawk AC3200 WiFi Router and it was good but I had to use range extenders to expand the signal. Those did a poor job and I almost waited for a WiFi 6e router. I'm glad I didn't waste the extra money or time to get a good deal. These provide coverage throughout my home and most of my yard. I can stream or game from anywhere in my house or large yard without any issues. My house is made from concrete block with thick plaster walls and I have no problems with making connections. My smart home operates much better without drops in coverage or connections. I pay for 500/500 mbps service and get ~350-480 mbps with these in most of my house with devices that support those speeds. I also purchased these as an open box from Amazon and was a little hesitant but the savings were too good to pass up. These came in great condition packaged by Amazon so as a trade off for a cheaper price, I don't get the original box I was going to just throw away anyway. The interface to install these and monitor the connections is very easy to use and understand. If you need coverage now with fast speeds these are the ones you should purchase. I wouldn't wait or pay more for WiFi 6e unless you a super high-end user and could somehow benefit from that type of connection.

I bought the refurbished Netgear Nighthawk 3 piecs mesh network. It was such a great price and returnable, so I took a chance. My experience: easy to download app, easy to set up router and satellites, easy to connect devices. I have intermediate knowledge of networks, certainly no expert. I found the directions easy to follow. I connected the router to my FIOS box which creates a 2nd Wi-Fi network. I was able to connect my old Dell laptop and Epson printer using the older 2.4 protocol and my Apple laptop with the 5 ghz automatically. Both iPhones connect automatically. I had tested the speeds to my FIOS router and they were good, the huge speed loss was with the FIOS Wi-Fi. My speeds now are FANTASTIC! Really triple what I was getting! Better improvement than I expected.

I’ve been waiting for a long time (and for WiFi 6) to jump on the Mesh bandwagon…and so glad I did. In a two story home with 1400sqft per level. I tried aftermarket antennas on our router, moving it at cost of running Ethernet cable about 40ft.. switching to new routers.. and nothing could provide a good signal with decent bandwidth throughout the home. Good news. Not only was the setup of the NetGear mesh system a 5 minute no-brainer, the coverage and speed is consistent throughout. Best money I’ve spent on networking gear. Don’t be intimidated by the complex technology and spooky name “Mesh”. I suspect anybody that can follow a few steps can accomplish this in minutes.

Before these came out, I was using the Netgear Nighthawk base that I thought would get range out to my detached garage about 2000 feet away. Even with range extenders, it was spotty at best outside and in the garage. I like Netgear's products and especially the bit defender, so I took a gamble on these. A week in and they are outstanding! I set them up in the front, middle and back of the house and get a very strong signal all over the property. As a bonus, they are really neat looking and take up very little room. Setup was easy and the bit defender Netgear offers keeps the spammers, scammers and wifi pirates at bay. Highly recommended if you are looking for a mesh setup.

I have no problem with this router. I had asked in the customer reviews if the device had separate 2.4g & 5g radio’s for separate SSID’S and the answer was yes. It does not. However the AX3600 does, so will be looking at possibly purchasing that system. Other then that fine product. My current router is a Netgear Nighthawk X6S Truck-Band and it totally rocks.

I've used NetGear for longer than I can remember. The last model I had, I believe it was a model 7000, had issues and I was losing our internet connection several times a week at random times. This went on for months and I'd finally had enough. Charter replaced my modem to isolate their equipment and the problem continued. So, I scraped the 7000, less than a year after purchasing it, for the Mesh Wifi. It's been a few months since I installed the base unit and 2 satellites, one up and one down. We've not lost signal once during this time and my download speed is running right at 114 mbps, which is fantastic. No problems streaming either. So far, I'm very satisfied with the Mesh System 6.

So I live in a small apartment 3 family home I’ve had Verizon internet for the past 3 years recently I upgraded my internet to GB speed (800-990mbps) because I always had A problem connecting more than 5 devices ( laptops, PC , tablets, phones , 5 ring cameras indoors and outdoors) I recently bought a Traeger grill and for that to work the way I want it to work I need WIFI. My internet did not reach at all so I bought this Mesh Wi-Fi and let me tell you NET-GEAR killed it with this one. Its so simple to install and to be completely honest my wifi extends all the way back to my back yard and to the front of the house it’s crazy. And what I like is that you can add more satellites so you can have 2,6,10 all depending how big your home is. This whole time I didn’t know what I been missing never knew this was a thing. I always thought my internet was weak. I recommend this product to anybody that has internet or is having problems connecting devices that are far from the modem when I move to my own computer place best believe I’m bringing this home with me
