    • Great POE switch
Style: 8 Port | 8xPoE+ 123W
This switch does great powering my IP security cameras with no downtime. I've had it mounted in my basement for months, powering the cameras, and not a hiccup. The management features are easy to use via the web UI, and you can even see how many watts everything is drawing. It supports way more than I need, but it is solid and reliable. ... show more

    • Good switch
Style: 5 Port | 4xPoE+ 63W
So far it has done what I expected from it. While the switch is a little expensive compared to the rest of the available switches, it make sense considering the built quality is far better from what I saw in other switches (mainly others being built from plastic)

    • Works out of the box
Style: 8 Port | 8xPoE+ 62W
Bought 2, hooked these up to the network and they worked right away. Havent played with the gui yet but I have with other models. I also have a few unifi g5 Bullet cameras in 1 and a unifi U6-Light in the other and both power and network connectivity is great. Cameras work just as they should both day and night. ... show more

    • Affordable managed switch with POE
Style: 8 Port | 8xPoE+ 62W
We're using this in a home network combined with a router/firewall appliance that handles the L3 routing. POE powers WAPs with no issue. Configuration of the switch is easy from the GUI. Of course, you'll need some technical networking knowledge to get everything set. Excellent deal!

    • Decent Managed 2.5 Gbps Switch
Style: 8 Port | 8xPoE+ 230W | 2.5G | Lifetime
Upgraded a segment of my LAN to 2.5GB speed and needed a managed switch.. Switch works fine, is PoE but I'm not using it for PoE currently. Just for a couple of VLAN's I run. I have a GS108PEv3 that I use for PoE cameras in my attic. The only reason I mention the GS108 switch is that it is also managed and VLAN's are a snap to set up and fairly intuitive if you've worked around them. This MS108EUP management console has an attractive interface but the VLAN setup is just not intuitive at all and PVID settings are in a weird place. Ultimately I got it set up and it didn't take too long but it is a real head scratcher. Also mine needed a firmware update out of the box as well. Actually seemed to be a couple versions or more behind. Netgear makes decent managed switches but the cost for PoE, Managed, and 2.5GB is kind of crazy for an 8 port switch and of course one port gets lost just hooking it to the network, so I call it a 7 port switch. It works, and it works fine but for the cost there should be a couple more ports. Last thing.....you get 4 60 watt PoE ports. That = 240 watts. You get 4 30 watt ports. That = 120 watts. That is 360 watts total. The actual budget for the switch is 230 watts total so you certainly can't max the switch out. If using for PoE just crunch your numbers first before buying. I'm happy with the switch but in my mind it is a $180 switch, not a $250 switch. ... show more

    • Excellent Switch
Style: 5 Port | 4xPoE+ 120W
Well built sturdy all metal casing. I love the 120w capacity as it is more than enough to power some POE cams. Got this for $66 around Prime Day. Should have snapped up 2. Update: I liked the 5 port so much and was hoping it would come back on sale but saw the 8 port for $79.99 and given the 123w think its a great price to value. Using these to power POE security cams. ... show more
