Ordered the Netgear 24 port PoE+ (GA324P) to run the LAN setup in our new build house. I had no experience in setting up a LAN, or anything that went with it. This device made the whole thing as easy as breathing. Truly a plug and play. I just plugged all the wires into the device and it did the rest. We are very happy with the performance. On the down side, the device is a bit loud. Thankfully, I wired everything to go into a closet in the laundry room so we don't ever hear it, except when doing laundry. As is typical of Netgrear products, it works right out of the box. There is a little cooling fan noise, however, the switch is generating extra heat because it is a providing PoE to security cameras, WAPs, etc. For a fan cooled unit it is quiet.
