Works well even on cotton poplin shirts! See the pics. First pic shows the before on the left half and the after on the right. A second pass is needed for tough wrinkles or cotton poplin. Second pic shows the after second pass on the right side of the shirt. Had to refill with water after I finished this shirt which is no biggie at all because it is ready to steam literally within seconds. Some tips for optimal performance: 1. Pull fabric taut with one hand as you slowly steam with the other. 2. After confirming fabric can withstand the heat, press the steamer directly into fabric. 3. Try steaming inside out too because it works better on creases that point outwards. (Peaks vs valleys) 4. Try dampening the item slightly to soften the fabric a bit before steaming. 5. Disengage the steam button when you’re not actively steaming to save water because the water reservoir is very small. 6. Point the steamer away from your hand and don’t get too close. I almost burned myself. 7. The swivel head comes in handy when you’re doing a lot of steaming. It allows for a more ergonomic position of your arm but be careful of the steam head. It gets too hot to touch after a few seconds so protect your fingers with a thick towel when swiveling the head. I had used a Jiffy Esteam for 10 years before it popped out. The Nesugar is a lot more functional because it is ready in seconds, it works even if tilted any which way, I can set it down without worrying about spilling scalding water, it packs in a suitcase very easily and it’s a lot lighter. I bought this for my upcoming summer trips that includes lots of linen and lightweight materials that crease and wrinkle easily. Upon first use of the steamer, I was in love with it! It’s very easy to use, heats up in about 10 seconds and works AMAZINGLY! The water compartment is not very large, so you have to refill it between steaming outfits, but it lasted long enough to do an entire maxi length linen dress. It’s the perfect size for traveling, pretty lightweight for the steam that it puts out! The steam come out very hot and thick, so there isn’t much effort behind the steaming, which makes it even better! Love this on a whim purchase and have used it daily! ... show more

THIS THING IS DOPE, YALL. Hot DAMN I did not expect it to be this powerful! 1. This thing is super compact. I bought it for traveling and it takes up so little room it is fantastic. 2. It hears up like IMMEDIATELY. I can start steaming basically right after plugging it in. No waiting for it to heat up like my old wand. 3. Small but powerful and very efficient. The reservoir for water is small, but it lasts a surprisingly long time and compared to my last wand that had a reservoir that was 3 times this size, I'd say it lasts comparably long. The swivel head is great for giving you flexibility and the steam it puts out is VERY good. I'd give this thing 10 stars if I could! ... show more

I was very happy with the performance of this hand-held steamer. I received it just in time to take it on a 5 state , 12 day trip that I had to dress formally and dress casual on multiple occasions. No matter the duty, this little steamer was effective at knocking the wrinkles out of my clothes in relatively short time.
