Description

The Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe coffee and espresso machine brews 4 single- serve cup sizes just with the touch of a button. Each machine includes a complimentary welcome set with a range of Nespresso Vertuo capsules with unique aroma profiles. Nespresso Coffee and Espresso Machine makes use of dual size single-serve capsules for brewing either coffee or espresso with consistent flavor at the touch of a button. Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe uses large capsule for coffee and small for espresso and has patented Centrifusion extraction technology reads barcode on the rim of compatible single-serve capsules and automatically sets brewing parameters. The VertuoPlus Deluxe machine brews four cup sizes: 1.35 oz Espresso, 2.7 oz Double Espresso, 5.0 oz Gran Lungo, and 7.7 oz Coffee. Additional features include: an adjustable tray, extra-large 60 oz. water reservoir, machine automatically ejects capsules after brewing; holds up to 17 use capsules, heat up time of only 15-20 seconds and energy-saving automatic shutoff after 9 minutes of inactivity.

The coffee this machine produces is excellent. I use intenso, half cafe and decafe regularly. This is my third Nespresso machine and I just love it. I do hate descaling , though. I think every Nespresso machine has very complicated directions for descaling and I dread doing it. But I just bought this machine and it doesn't need descaling yet, of course. This is the quietest Nespresso machine I have owned. It still makes noise, but nothing compared to the previous one I still own. I banished it to our Lake House because it is so loud it would wake up my husband from his afternoon nap!!!! This machine is easy to use. The water tank is big and you can make several cups before having to refill. It's sturdy and trust worthy. BTW, I NEVER use the container that captures the ejected pod. I just let them fall to the counter top and I recycle them. I am convinced that my first Nespresso machine broke because of the build up of the ejected pods that piled up in the catch container and broke some gadget in the machine. Boo Hoo. My bad. I was unaware that my husband had been using this machine as well and Lost track of how many ejected pods were in the catch container. I just keep that catch container in the cabinet. I really love everything about this machine, except descaling, of course. Also, the water container can swing to the right, left or be positioned straight back from the machine. This coffee maker is well-designed and makes consistently smooth coffee with a rich crema. The pod system is straightforward, and the machine automatically recognizes the capsule type to adjust brewing for espresso, regular coffee, or larger cups. “Coffee Shop Quality at Home” I’ve tried a lot of coffee shops over the years, and honestly, this machine makes coffee that tastes even better to me. The espresso is rich, smooth, and full of flavor every single time, with a great crema on top. It’s incredibly easy to use, heats up fast, and makes mornings so much easier. What surprised me most is how consistent it is — every cup tastes like a premium café drink without the long lines or high prices. This has easily become one of my favorite kitchen purchases.     • Leaky New Model Disappoints Longtime Nespresso Lover
We have had a Nespresso Vertuo machine for years and loved its coffee and versatility. It provided at least 4 cups of coffee every day until the motor finally died. We feel we had gotten our money’s worth. We looked for a replacement model with a smaller footprint and settled on the Deluxe model. Since it was made by Breville I was confident in its quality since I have many beloved Breville kitchen devices. Well, unfortunately this Breville Nespresso Vertuo Deluxe product does not match the quality of their other machines. It leaks water from the main body with every cup we make, and it is not drops leaking, but ounces. Of course the original packing has been thrown out and we are trying to live with mopping it up with a towel after each use, but it is aggravating and greatly disappointing. I wish we had chosen a different model but my previous experiences had given me confidence in our choice. Too bad two brands I had faith in have let us down. ... show more

    • Good machine but I ended up returning it...
I did like this machine and it does make a very good cup of coffee. You'll be hard-pressed to find a single-serve coffee machine at this price point that can brew a better-tasting cup of coffee. Yet, despite the great-tasting coffee, I ended up returning this machine. First off, there is very little variety when it comes to veruto pods. The original Nespresso machines have more choices to pick from and then of course K-cup compatible machines have FAR, FAR more variety. Good coffee, but after using it for nearly two months... I kind of got sick of the same coffee flavors over and over again. Secondly, the price. For me, veruto pods are too expensive. I drink 3-4 cups of coffee a day and considering a pack of 8 veruto pods is about $10.00, this machine was too much money for me long-term. Even the most expensive K-cup brands are less money than a pack of 8 veruto pods. Thirdly, the crema. Sure, it looks fancy... but I don't really like it when it comes to the drinking experience. I just want to enjoy a cup of coffee and not deal with a layer of foam every time. As aforementioned, I used this machine for about two months and while I did enjoy it, I ultimately made the decision to return it before Amazon's return window closed. It's too expensive to use as a primary coffee machine (for me) but if you don't mind the higher price of veruto pods and limited flavor options, I definitely recommend this machine. ... show more

    • Breville's open box Nespresso machine was like new and a great value
Just received an essentially new Nespresso Vertuo Plus machine for less than half retail, as an open box item with warranty from Breville. The box had some miles on it, but the coffee maker was as new, probably a store shelf model. And it started and worked just fine. Second such machine I've had, and the Vertuo Plus is the best of the Nespresso choices. My previous Vertuo Plus went five years of daily use before failing. The previous machine did everything well but struggled to get through the descaling process. Does it matter where Nespresso makes these? This open box one was Breville-badged from the Ukraine, and while almost identical, seems just a bit better in build quality than the previous one, DeLonghi from Hungary. All trivia. Both make great coffee, in five pod sizes, if one cup at a time with a small counter footprint is your goal. ... show more
