You just have to be sure to buy the right pods if you want a true Italian espresso that you would get in Italy. I have been buying the broken box very good condition items. This one was great and saved a ton of hard earned money. The only thing missing was the coffee sampler. I had what I like so didn't matter.

Defective

This item was sold by Esquared Trading and did not work, even after several trouble shooting efforts. Machine would not move water from water tank through the machine to make espresso. Item will be returned. Although the item itself appeared to be in new condition once removed from packaging, I suspect it had been previously opened and may not have been brand new, based on the condition of the Nespresso box it came in and the way it was packaged inside (maybe a previously opened and/or returned item?). It was less expensive than other like items on Amazon but I saw nothing elses on the product info to indicate it was not new.
