Got this on sale for Black Friday and I am so happy with my purchase. It is compact ao it doesn’t take up too much space but it still looks so good on my bar/coffee cart. It’s super easy to use and it pulls the coffee/espresso perfectly. One of my favorite parts is that it has a little trap on the side that holds the used pods until you need to throw them away. The quality for the price is perfect.

Update: I ordered different pods for it off their site, and it brews super hot like my regular machine would. 12/10 now. This vertuo pop has the option for 7.7 oz or almost twice that. Those are the two sizes that it will brew really hot for you, just FYI. This machine not only looks sleek, it makes great lattes. I love that it adapts to whatever size pod is in. You only need one button to make an espresso, double espresso or coffee. The only so so thing about it is it doesn’t brew super hot. I read that it brews to the temperature the coffee supposedly tastes best, so I guess that’s a good thing?

The media could not be loaded. We bought this machine in December of 2024. We didn’t use it much. It worked fine and we did enjoy the occasional cup of Nespresso, while it lasted. I’m guessing we made around 50 cups, total, sometimes not using it for a 2 or 3 weeks. Last week, Feb 2025 (14 months after purchase), the machine completely stopped working. Today, I called technical support and they confirmed that it was dead. I had registered it. They looked us up in their system and said we were out of warranty by a month or 2, and they would be HAPPY to sell us another unit discounting it 35%. I suspect this machine has a chip in it that is set to kill it 14 months after it makes its first cup of coffee. Maybe it is just bad luck on our part, but when spending this kind of money on what appears to be a fine appliance, you would expect some robustness. I am very disappointed and have no plans to buy another unit where the life of coffee maker itself costs about $2.50 per cup in addition to the very expensive coffee pods. Nice concept, but it seems to me that this must be all about how the company can EXTRACT as money out of the customer for their bottom line, putting aside the fact that we just want a coffee maker to EXTRACT the flavor out of the coffee.

Okay, I'm trying really hard to ascertain why nearly two dozen "most recent" reviews are blasting this machine. Frankly, for the price, I'm honestly impressed and to impress me is no easy feat. First of all, I ordered this for our second home as I already own and love the Breville Creatista Plus....I have had that one since 2019 and it's still going strong (knock on wood). AMAZING machine. But I also needed a really solid machine for our vacation place that would be able to replace our lame Keurig for my iced salted honey lattes and this machine along with the Scuro pods took my freaking morning coffee to the NEXT LEVEL. Just get it...it's gorgeous, compact and sooooo easy to use!
