This is the ultimate Nespresso machine, it is easy to use and has so many options. The thing I love the most is that it lets you know when it needs to be descaled. I use it every day. The coffee taste great and I really love the flexibility with the original line, there are far more flavors and brands than the vertuo line. The milk frother is a great touch and makes making specialty coffee a breeze. It is easy to clean and I really like that it has a cleaning cycle after each use of the frother. I was initially intimidated by the amount of parts in the frother but after taking it apart once I realized that it is easy to assemble and disassemble, everything fits perfectly in an easy to understand way. My first thought was that this machine is pretty compact and I love the sleek, minimalist looking design. It does not take up a lot of space and it's a beautiful looking machine. The setup process was very easy and straightforward. I like that the milk container is a separate piece and is detachable if you have leftover milk. You can pop it in the fridge for use the next day. You do have to clean the milk detachment regularly if you like drinks with milk. I've been using it primarily without milk. The water heats up quickly and while the machine can be a bit noisy, my espresso is done in less than a minute. The machine comes with a set of sample original pods to try, not all of them were hits, but I'm looking forward to trying other pods/brands. It is definitely a pricey machine and on top of that you do have to buy the original shaped pods--something to consider if you're looking at purchasing this machine. ... show more

I am a coffee drinker by nature but do like to have an espresso drink every so often in the afternoon. This espresso machine is easy to use and provides a small beverage with ease. My issue is that to have a “normal” size 12oz drink, you have to have at least 2 pods if not more. If you are needing two pods for each drink you have, that adds up quickly and it might be easier just to purchase one that tastes better. With that being said, if you do like your espresso drinks 6oz or so, than 1 should be fine for you, but when I think espresso, I think chain restaurant coffee, so it just throws me off. I would still give this 4 stars, as espresso is quite the event to get down and this provides an easy way to have espresso at home without the heavy price tag of a legitimate espresso maker. ... show more

The Nespresso Gran Lattissima is a simple solution to getting your daily cup of joe. If you are a coffee snob you may not love all the bells and whistles as it may not be enough bells and whistles to get your perfect espresso but for the average consumer i think it will be a great upgrade. These uses the smaller pods which makes just about the right size espresso. This one also comes with a milk frother which is a delight that it is built in to the coffee machine and makes great frothy milk. There are a lot of different options that i havent played with as there are so many different types of coffees you can make. Almost all of them are quite good and you can easily find how tos online how to make them. The biggest thing about this is the size it comes in it is very compact and cute. Taking up very little space on the counter top and if you get one of those rollers for it to pull it out makes it even better. Honestly this has really changed my daily coffee drinking habits and i am all there for it. ... show more

This Nespresso machine is very high quality and high end. Honestly, it's been pretty awesome for my morning routine. Setting it up was a breeze, and I love how it doesn't take up much space on my counter. The touch panel thingy is super intuitive; you basically get the hang of it right away, choosing from a bunch of coffee drinks without any hassle. What really sold me was how fast this thing gets going. Like, in 20 seconds, I'm ready to sip on my espresso, and if I'm feeling fancy and go for something with milk, it's just a little bit longer. The milk frother part is cool because you can just pop it off and clean it easily or shove it in the fridge with the leftover milk. Now, the coffee pods are a bit pricier than what I used to buy for my old coffee machine, but the coffee tastes so much better. Plus, I don't have to deal with the mess since the used pods just drop into a bin inside the machine. I wish the water tank was a bit bigger, though, because I have to fill it up more often than I'd like, especially when I'm using it a lot. Cleaning's not too bad, but the manual that came with it is kind of a pain to get through. It's got different languages mashed together, and the font they chose makes it harder to read than it needs to be. The machine itself is rather solid and definitely looks/feels premium, but I've noticed a few things that make me wonder about how long some parts will last, especially the milk container parts. They seem a bit fragile, and I've already noticed some wear after taking it apart for cleaning a few times. Also, the whole setup for the milk feels a bit finicky; you've got to make sure everything's perfectly in place, or it doesn't work right. But overall, I'm pretty happy with it. It's not perfect, but for making coffee shop-level drinks at home without needing a ton of space or time, it's solid. Just wish it could handle making bigger drinks, but it's not a huge deal. If it weren't for the few concerns about durability and the smallish water tank, I'd say it's pretty much the ideal coffee machine for home use. ... show more

This machine I purchased new was very evidently not new. I set up the return as soon as I unboxed and saw the coffee stains. I'm disappointed that I didn't receive a new coffee machine. If I wanted second hand, I would have selected to pay less for one.
