Here's Nespresso Capsules Vertuo, and I got the double espresso variety pack. The roasts include 5 (dolce), 8 (chiaro), and 11 (scuro). Perhaps due to it being Spring, and allergy season, I found they more or less had the same notes—like entering a coffee shop. My nose may very well not be able to pick up the nuances as of now, but if somehow my nose wows me, I'll definitely report back. As for the flavors, I prefer using the intensity numbers if only as a standard that the other brands also follow. 5 definitely has that medium roast flavor going to it. A bit of tart, a bit of bitter, it's a good balance and that's coming from a "no sour notes please" kind of coffee drinker. 8 feels like it's got that standard coffee feel, or at least, my kind of coffee. It doesn't have the flavors of a very dark roast, (or more usually described as a french roast) and it has no sour notes—a very easy to drink kind of coffee. 11 has the nice dark roast taste that hasn't reached pretzel status. Very nice for those who like that almost smoky flavor dark (french) roasts tend to have, but without the pretzel, fish, lye, flavor that tends to appear in some french roasts. Overall, they have a nice strength to them. This double espresso is my kind of coffee, more to drink with more flavor (compared to the Nespresso classic/original). It's very convenient in that I can turn it make this iced, add milk, or just water (if I wanted a standard coffee), but do note that you are getting a little bit of plastic in these capsules. The OG capsule only had aluminum foil as the seal, but these now they've switched to a plastic covered in aluminum seal. I only note this since I've heard some folks used Nespresso's original capsules to ease their worries on microplastic ingestion.

This Nespresso Capsules Vertuo, Double Espresso Variety Pack, containing 30-count coffee pods (pack of 1), brews 2.7oz of delicious double espresso. Each flavor is unique and incredibly satisfying. I’ve experimented with different combinations of Nespresso pods and double espresso shots with creamer. No matter which combination you choose, it enhances the taste and adds a delightful flavor that your taste buds will appreciate. Last night, I tried the double espresso dolce with vanilla creamer, and it was the perfect blend. The fruity flavor was smooth and hit all the right notes. This morning, I tried the double espresso Chiaro in a vanilla Nespresso pod, and the flavor was strong and had a nice kick. It had a more woody flavor compared to using a regular Nespresso pod. My husband tried the Nespresso Carmel pod with the double Nespresso Chiaro and said it had nutty flavors. He enjoyed it. This afternoon, we tried the double espresso Scuro By Nespresso, and it tasted amazing again. We paired it with a Nespresso coffee pod and then enjoyed it on its own, and it had a great smoky and chocolatey flavor. I haven’t had any issues using any of the pods. They are packed nicely, and the Nespresso coffee machine reads them perfectly. I’m already a fan of Nespresso pods, and I’m happy that they continue to improve the coffee-making experience. It’s definitely a highlight of my morning routine, whether it’s starting my day with a cup or relaxing later in the day with a little boost. All three of these Nespresso Capsules Vertuo, Double Espresso Varieties are a great option to make with your favorite coffee or milk. They are delicious hot or cold and provide a satisfying taste. They also are nice by themselves. Definitely recommend giving them a try. Great value for great tasting capsules of double espresso.

Flavor Name: Double Espresso Variety

I will start by saying that I am a huge fan of the 2nd generation Nespresso Pods. I transitioned from K-Cups and have been an everyday drinker of the Nespresso Stormio pods for quite some time. I like deep, rich coffee that launches you into your day; otherwise, why do you drink coffee at all. These Double Espresso pods from Nespresso are simply delicious. This variety pack is a good choice if you are sampling different flavors and strengths as each one has a different dose of boldness and strength, scaled from 1 through 12. Since I drink Stormio coffee pods, I figured that Scuro would be my choice, but that is not necessarily true, as these are double espresso and quite strong and invigorating. I like all three of them, woodsy flavor (Chiaro) being my least favorite. Not that the Chiaro is not good, it has a flavor that I must be in the mood for to prefer over the other two. All three of them are quite good. So, if you have a Nespresso machine and are dipping your toe in the espresso waters, this is a perfect choice to find out what you like. A sampler pack is also a good idea, but I find that I must drink something a couple of times to determine whether or not I really like it. I have every intention of ordering these again, along with my everyday Stormio. I would recommend these pods to anyone who is trying out espresso and in the Nespresso ecosystem.

I've never had espresso but I'm impressed with this coffee I love the design of the pods bonus they can be recycled after using it I love the design of the box it also indicates how strong the coffee will be using the number of coffee bean icon the coffee was pretty strong but delicious after adding my own ingredients it's good iced or hot will see myself getting this in the near future
