This saw is a beast. Tons of power but it is heavy. It's very well made and comes with everything you need to keep it tuned up. Starts pretty easily. We've cut down lots of Acacia with it and plan to use it in an alaskan saw mill. Very happy with the purchase.

I have had this saw about a month now, so durability will be judged later. However, I am pretty impressed so far. Out of the box did not have to make any adjustments and it started and ran well. I have cut a few slabs and done some regular cross cut sawing with it and it seems strong and consistent. This saw worked great out if the box . I have ran stihl in the past but after a day of cutting hard wood (hedge - Osage orange) this saw dose not disappoint. With 6-7 tanks of fuel threw it the only thing I have done is a small adjustment to the idle setting

This saw ROCKS! It has plenty of POWER and TORQUE for all of your felling needs within it's capability. The saw cranks every time and idles all day long once tuned out. I put a 28" bar with an Oregon full house chain, and it eats everything I feed it.

The saw works very well. It cuts fast and has alot of power. Sure it weighs a little bit but the amount of work you can do with one tank of fuel is more than a underpowered saw. So get more done faster. Used it at sea level and as high as 8500ft elevation.. Minor tune is all that's required. May want to get a 12 dollar tachometer for that. ... show more

I wouldn’t even give this any stars if it was an option. It looked promising but that’s all it has to offer. Wouldn’t start after all the time spent bolting on the assembly. What a waste of time. Get a name brand like Husqvarna.

Chainsaw started off great would start two to three pulls every time. Ran great for first 6 months now can't get it started. Replaced carburetor and all filters and hoses and still nothing. Got no help from customer service.

Now that I've got this powerhead broken in, I can say that I'm truly pleased with it. I bought it for use with a light-duty chainsaw mill but it has exceeded my expectations. Be aware that it really likes a 25:1 fuel/oil mix but that wasn't a big issue. Also, as with all these small motors (saws, trimmers, etc.), avoid gasoline that's been cut with ethanol. After that, this is the one saw I own that starts reliably and runs without a hitch. ... show more
