My mom is in assisted living facility and has had her (very expensive) hearing aides accidentally tossed out (a couple times) so we have opted for this as a solution when we aren’t there. They are easy to use and she can actually hear! We bought two so that one is always being charged.

    • It works for the very hard of hearing.
Let me start by saying I purchased these for my sister who is extremely hard of hearing since birth. She has had many hearing aids over the years (69years). Communication with her and her once again broken hearing aids was difficult at best. She was struggling to hear her TV with volume up to max. I thought these might help the situation. This hearing device has been an answer to my prayers. Not only can she hear her TV but she wears them all the time. Our ability to communicate without being face to face( so she can read lips) has been wonderful. If you don’t mind the looks of wearing them then I’d highly recommend trying these. This will be my first purchase when my hearing goes. Hope they are is good for others as they have been for us. Just a note, we are in the process of having her evaluated for cochlear implants. I am writing because, along with this product came an offer for a $30 Amazon gift card, which you receive for giving the hearing aids a 5-star review. Knowing that, you might want to take 5-star reviews with a grain of salt. I bought this for my 103-year-old dad, because he was constantly losing his hearing aids. He has not lost these – they are attached by wire to a gizmo that sits on his neck. This might be enough of a reason to buy them. He is able to hear me without my having to shout, but the sound quality is poor, and I can often hear pings and squealing sounds. He cannot wear both aids at the same time – it makes everything sound like he has a big echo chamber in his head. I tried them myself (I do not need hearing aids), and had the same echo-chamber experience. With only one aid being used, the other one emits all sorts of annoying sounds any time he moves a muscle (e.g., chewing, talking). I have found that if I wrap the unused aid in aluminum foil, the annoying sounds are kept to a minimum. ... show more

They worked good for a day till the microphone stopped working on 2nd day. Think the charge port broke it’s made cheaply just the microphone not the headset I returned it and I’ll see about refund
