Excellent saw for the money , runs and feels like a nice quality saw . Have not had any problems with it and turns on pretty quickly . Just empty the fuel tank and the carburetor after using it and when the saw is going to sit for a while.

This thing is a beast. I’ve used smaller chainsaws previous to this one… 50cc and smaller. This chainsaw puts them to shame. Starts right up and runs great. Very affordable saw. Would buy another.

When I got the saw, first thing I noticed was there was no owners manual included. I have many Neotec saws, and I know it was supposed to be there. When I filled it up with gas, the gas started pouring out internally. Long story, short, Neotec failed to install the fuel tank vent which left and open hole for the fuel to flow out of and it did all over my tailgate and driveway. I contacted Neotec support and they suggested that it may have come loose during Shipping, but I assured them that it was not included, quality control oversight. This too means that it was not tested because the problem would have been discovered. Neotec discounted my purchase $20 for my trouble and sent me the part at my request. The part could not be installed because it did not fit in the holder so I sealed up the tank vent hole and drilled a new hole and installed a proper tank vent. If this saw had been purchased by an average consumer, the sale would have been a total failure, but I know how to repair equipment and fixed it myself. I like Neotec and have many of their saws, but this one wasn’t great. In hindsight, I probably should have requested a replacement instead of fixing it. Who knows, the replacement saw might have included the elusive owners manual? ... show more

I received this saw however it did not include the bar and chain as advertised. I felt it was a sign and began having second thoughts. When I tried to return it. The first thing I get in response is that its not returnable. I have purchased 3 of the Neotec 12” top saws and love them. I have told everyone how great they are. Now I am feel like I will be regretting this purchase every time I look at this saw. I hope it runs. ... show more

Wanted to replace my 272 xp husqvarna that lost its way home several years ago. This saw started right up and seems to be tuned up very well. Really nice to have a powerful saw again. Fit and finish was very good and seems to be a very good value.

Did not get bar and chain with saw. Still waiting to hear back from Neo Tec customer service. Saw runs good. But not worth it without bar and chain. Buyer beware. Email kicked back and the phone # listed does not work for customer support.

Imagine if the original manufacturer that was being cloned cut their cost by 70%, increased production , and flooded the market with product . This is an incredible product in that it looks and works like a chain saw . Spooky but effective .
