I like the packaging and completeness of this kit as well as what you get for the price. For about a third of what a Stihl 660 would cost for its powerhead alone, you can get a very powerful complete kit for getting through long logs. I would only recommend it to those who know what they are doing and already have a smaller saw for other light or elevated work. So far, I'm happy because it works. I'm still breaking it in and getting used to it but these are my initial thoughts. Pro: * Started up right away * Very powerful, able to smoothly pull the chain through wood quickly even with the long 36" bar. * Manual does show exploded views of all major components and is mostly up-to-date with what I got in the package. (mine mentioned a couple parts which weren't included but they are not essential) * Most tools you need to work on it (besides a file) are included in the tool pouch. Was able to remove fan housing and reattach the starter cord which pulled through the handle (knot too small) on the 2nd day relatively easily thanks to the straightforward design and included Torx screwdriver. Con: * Initially arrived without a chain but seller was very responsive and got one to me 3 days later. * Possible safety concern: The handguard is so flimsy and flexible on the side away from the bar that it doesn't trigger the chain brake if pushed all the way forward on that end. The chain brake does work but you can't engage it using your left wrist alone while still holding the handle. You have to take your right hand off the rear handle and push forward solidly on the right side (near the bar) of the front handguard. * Carburetor needed to be adjusted out of the box just to keep it idling without shutting off. * Heavy (~26 pounds when full of gas and bar oil) and unwieldy with the 36" bar. This setup is best suited for working waist height or below to maintain control and avoid dangerous situations and rapid fatigue. Pairing it with a shorter bar and chain might alleviate some of that but then you wouldn't need this much HP. * Instruction Manual is okay... the English could be more clear and there are plenty of typos. * Spent a lot of time setting it up due to imprecise tolerances. For instance, getting the dogs on required grinding away some of the rear metal on one of them and straightening it in a vise so it would seat against the saw body and line up with the mounting holes. Even then, the chain catcher pin attached to one of the dogs has to be bent a bit to line up with the hole in the other dog to get the chain sprocket cover on making that process cumbersome.

Value is great. Started right up. No assembly instructions included, but all parts were there. Had to grind some parts for things to fit. Thing is a beast, you need to have some muscle to handle this thing but I think you know that

Have run the saw now for a month. The instructions are poorly written, good to have some mechanical aptitude to use. Took a little time to get it adjusted to start and run good. Is a very strong saw, and likes gas. I had to replace the muffler after about 5 hours of run time. It vibrated loose and came apart. I would recommend tightening everything on it after each use. But all in all I am satisfied with the saw.

Saw arrived w/o an oil cap. Notified seller and received two sets of oil/gas caps six business days later. Saw has lots of power. However. the first tank of gas the saw only used 1/2 tank of bar oil. There appears to have been NO over heating of the chain or bar. To adjust the bar oil pump to pump more bar oil, the location specified in the Instruction Manual DOES NOT exist and I could not find any adjustment. I sent this information to Neotec Customer Service and requested if this saw has any adjustment for the bar oiler? It has been four business days and I HAVE NOT received a response from Customer Service. I also had to replace the TORCH spark plug with a Champion Plug after first use of the saw. Saw would not start due to a bad plug!

I am no stranger to pull starting machines, however, this one was very difficult to start. That being said it could be limited to my saw and may not apply to all of them. The decompression button does need to be pressed between every pull and sometimes does not relieve the pressure and you end up getting yanked back. Takes several pulls to start. After bringing up my concerns, the company sent detailed instructions on troubleshooting. After adjusting the carburetor and following of their instructions, it still was not starting and running as it should. They sent me a return label free of charge and offered to replace the machine. I asked for a refund instead because I ended up hiring a company to remove the trees for me instead due to time constraints. They offered the refund without complaint. I would leave 5 stars for service, but since I am rating both the machine and service I can only go as high as 3 stars. I would give them another chance in the future.

my regular saw is in the shop. i have a bunch of 40 through 63 inch diameter ash and maple logs. three big trees so i thought i would take a chance with this neotec ns892 with 36 inch bar.went together ok.but had to grind on the dogs to make them fit.i was starting to have doubts about it.about 10 puls to start first time warmed it up and started cutting on a 42 inch dia. ash log.i am impressed.this thing has lots of power and sounds like a hot rod saw.i ran 2 tanke of fuel so far. i think it will be ok.after i get the big wood cut i will put a 24 inch bar on it with skip tooth.: update after 5 tanks of fuel and as many tanks bar oil the bearings went out in bar nose and yes i have greesed it. update: seller sent 2 bar tips after i sent them a picture of the falty one.good response i am going to get the ns 872 and the little top handle saw also
