Totally AUG-SOME!!! First day: much sturdier than expected. Starts up easily. The grey air filter cover has a big on/off switch that’s easy to overlook. The gearbox has no grease in it! Find the grease zerk & fill gearbox with high-temp grease from a grease gun. Use that 2-cycle premix fuel for simplicity. Fuel up, depress the fuel bulb 10x, turn grey switch to ‘on’, lay it on side & pull the starter cord. The right hand control grip has all the controls & the ‘trigger’ is the gas pedal. Excellent machine & great value.

It’s been a great Machine , you need to grease the gear box when it’s brand new , other than that it’s pretty simple mix some gas and start it and hold on. I’ve done a total of 14 two feet deep holes in rocky clay and it’s done really well. It’s saved me a lot of back breaking work and cut the time in half that would have taken me a lot longer to do all that by hand . It’s definitely been worth the money.

MY HUSBAND HAD TO DID TWENTY HOLES FOR A FENCE TO OUR NEW VEGATABLE GARDEN. THE AUGER CAME WITH THREE BITS, THE BITS WERE A NICE THICKNESS. MU HUSBAND LOVED HOW EASY IT WAS DIGGING THE HOLES, THERE WASNT ANY BOGGING DOWN ON THE MACHINE. THE MACHINE IS A NICE SIZE FOR A ONE PERSON HANDLER. WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

In my opinion this is the best value for the money. The auger is powerful but easy to control using he throttle. I used one years ago without a throttle and it would give quite a kick when it hung on something. I'm sure all will kick but at least you have some control over the power.

Building a fence? Putting in deck posts? Maybe a small Flagpole? Wife wants you to dig holes to plant flowers? or All of the Above? After checking out the cost at the big box stores I came across this on Amazon significantly cheaper and the quality is top notch. Seller actually contacted me before the package arrived to let me know it would be shipped in two packages and that should I have any issues to contact them. I also confirmed with them on the phone that the correct gas to oil ratio was 25-1. We have dry, rocky soil and I was a little worried how well this would work but it worked great. I used the 4" first and then re-drilled with the 6" that worked the best for me. I used it to drill down 27" in ground post anchors. Highly recommend.
