Update to review 11/2020: I do not recommend buying the chair it lasted less than 6 months. We did not use the chair every day and the metal below the chair is broken. I did not use the chair but a few weeks in June when we first got it so it went from a heavy person to lighter person who did use the lean feature not frequently but maybe every other day when using. Now this person that used it is way under 200 pounds and I don't believe the metal or product is the best. Even if the price is tempting you want to buy something that lasts and you can feel at ease you won't have to buy a new one for another few years or more. Last review 6/2020: I like the back piece definitely is comfortable there but the seat itself really hurts the back of my thighs and side of my thighs like a lot. To the point where I am bruising after a day of use. This is less than 8 hours use considering I am working from home this is not comfy for a big girl or big boy. You get me. You got thighs and on the plus side I do not recommend this especially if you don't like your thighs being squeezed. The part of the tushy to front is decent on length but the part closer towards front is not comfy I have a bruise under my left thigh so maybe one of the screws were a bit to far in. The color is great the feel of material is great even shipping great I recommend if your a thinish to a little chubby person that likes a bit extra space not too much may be for you but a bigger person with thighs is a big no no if you want want to safe yourself from pain. ... show more

Good value, good-looking chair for my home office "I have read many of the other reviews here. I'm glad I found this reasonable home office chair as an upgrade. I got this chair for my home office since I am having to work full time at home now due to the COVID 19 and the chair at my desk was causing me pain. The instructions are detailed images of each part and how they assemble to each other with the hardware. The hardware comes in a blister pack which clearly identifies the different screws and comes with an Allen wrench. The padding is thick and spongy and the fabric is soft to the touch. Comfortable and has good back support. (I weight like 300) But, probably won’t provide much room for larger people. Overall, I’m very happy with it. I would buy it again if I need a chair for the future." ... show more

    • STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHAIR - SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE

Big Warning: The looks of this chair can be deceiving. Assembly: The assembly is NOT easy, though the site claims that you can assemble it in 15 mins, it took me more than an hour because of the flimsy screws, the pathetic quality of Allen wrench and not to mention that the instructions were not super clear as well. They have just provided pictures of how the assembly should look in each step, but it would have been really helpful if they would have given more details about each step. The packaging comes with Wheels (5) , screws (divided into A, B, C) , washer (D) and an Allen wrench. I would expect each screw (i.e A,B and C) to be supported by washer (D) for better handling, but again here the instructions do not clearly show whether each screw should have Washer or not as there are not enough Washers as screws. So, I had to decide what part of the chair I can put the screw without the Washer, pretty bad from Customer perspective. Comfort: 1. After putting this chair into an assembled state, I sat on it for 30 mins and boy, what a uncomfortable Memory Foam seat this is. It looks so fabulous, but the seat is absolutely uncomfortable to sit for long hours. The main reason people order chairs these days is sitting long hours due to Work From Home, but this is definitely not your chair if you expect to sit 6-8 hours a day working. Again, depends on how heavy you are, I am 188 Pounds, but if you are super lightweight, it may be a different story for you. 2. Lumbar Support: The Lumbar Support is made of hard plastic, the moment I sat on the chair, it started pressing hard on my back hurting me more than supporting me. Pretty bad design, material choice by the manufacturer. 3. Arm rest - The Arm Rest is same as the Lumbar Support. Made of hard plastic, without consideration for any soft support OR wide enough to support multiple forearms, thus someone like me who is heavy, has a much bigger forearm then someone skinny. Thus, the arm rest hurts you as well. 4. Stiching - The Stiching on the seat is clearly visible, and thus an unpleasant thing to look at, though it doesn't make any issues while sitting All in All, this is bad chair for medium / heavy people and should stay away from it if you are looking for comfortable chair in these times of WFH. ... show more

I was holding off purchasing a chair while working from home till I bought my place but the dining chair is just not cutting it for me. I went in every website possible Pottery Barn, West Elm, Wayfair & Overstock. The $$$ prices were just not for me. So searched in AMAZON and lo and behold! I found this chair! It shipped fast by Prime and received it in 3 days! I love the look and comfort of it. I didn't want to choose a standard black chair and decided on the grey and white color perfect for a woman. I was going to give it 4 stars because it took me an hour to put it together (not the 20 minutes as the ad suggested) but decided to give it the 5 stars because I am really happy with it. I got two chairs for replacements for my grown kids computer chairs. It was easy to assemble. Take note on instructions: Don't completely tighten the screws on the arm rests before you add the back rest. There's two tabs that slide into slots. You won't be able to get the back part on with the screws tightened. Other than the fact I ignored that, I did figure it out in a few moments. The chair is comfortable to sit on. I agree with some of the other reviews that the arm rests are too low. All of the computer chairs I've had the arm rests keep you arms about parallel to the desk so typing and moving mouse is fluent. If I jack the chair up to maximum height, it's still a tad shy of this goal. I still gave it 5 stars simply for the fact it's a good chair at a good price and was easy to assemble. If you're a power computer user who sits at desk up to 8 hours at a time, you might want to think twice on this one. ... show more
