My cousin and I were looking for a protective gear set that would go with the NEMONE Mermaid skates we got for her daughter. She loves mermaids and had recently gotten into roller skating so this matching set was perfect. The vibrant colors instantly caught her eyes, just like the skates did, and it turned out to be a win for both safety and style. The material felt sturdy and well-padded, but not stiff. The straps are soft and adjustable, so they fit securely without cutting into my little cousin’s arms or legs. No itching, pinching, or slipping either. Everything also stayed in place, even during falls or when she was zipping around. The reflective detailing was a nice safety bonus for playing in dim lighting. With knee, elbow, and wrist guards included, there was no need to buy extra pieces. The drawstring bag was also a nice touch.

My daughter loves her skates and pads

These were bought for my daughter who just turned 4. She is a bit petite but not overly so. She was able to fit in the knee pads and elbow pads. They are bit hard to tell which is which but they do have labels saying which is for the right and left on the small tag inside. The knee pads you can strap on or put their leg through the elastic and then strap on. That helps for smaller legs and to keep them from sliding down or twisting. It is also nice to be able to strap on the pads without having to put a leg through so you can put them on fast and over thicker clothing. Wrist guards are always a problem I have found with little kids as they are just way to big for their little hands. She doesn't even bother trying to wear them as they are still too big for her 4 year old body. She wears a 4T but is slim.
