I purchased this for my neighbor who takes long walks day or night. In areas without street lamps (or even with), I wanted him to have a high vis/reflective veat for safety. Works great! I sized up so it could he worn over jackets and coats.

The whole point of this vest was to fit OVER a winter coat (it does) and to be seen IN TRAFFIC (it IS). When my baby girl is riding her bike at night in traffic, I want her to light up like a Christmas tree, and SHE DOES. I wear a size large shirt. My husband wears a XXL shirt. I had read several reviews, where people said this vest ran small and to order a size up. I ordered an XL for me, and a XXXL for my husband. So glad I did! The XL fits me perfect. The XXXL fits him perfect. These have some good hang to them, which means, they stop just below my backside and same thing for my husband. These fit with such room, that if I wore a sweater or he wore a jacket, they would not be tight. We are only going to wear these for the occasional walk when it gets dark. The vests were in great shape. No issues with the zipper or workmanship. My advice would be to definitely order a size or two up, from what you usually wear, day to day. (Hmmmmmmmm. I wrote this review a long while back and hit "submit." Must be a glitch in the system, as it's asking me to review this item, and the review I wrote, came up.
