I hate being leaned back too far in a chair, and this one sits perfectly. My feet touch the ground without the edge of the seat pressing into the back of my legs. The rocking feature is awesome, too. Sits well on a hard surface or grass. It seems heavy when taking it out of the box, but the handle on the side makes it feel comfortable to carry and not too heavy at all. The description did not say seat height is only 17" and for tall people over 6' getting in and out presents a challenge for retired folk. The seat forms a cup and that exaggerates the effort of getting out for me - over 6' 1" and 72 years old. The front has sturdy posts that put pressure down to the ground when pushing down on the arm ends when getting out and that feature is nice, except on smooth surfaces like a carpeted porch or grass the back of the chair slides backwards, so much care and attention is required. The chair is comfortable to sit and rock. we had to return these because of the low seat height. The refund was easy but the seller charged $24 for return UPS shipping, and there was no option for the UPS store or Kohls free drop off. We found some 20" chair height non-rocking but padded chairs on Amazon that are GREAT for half the cost of these. ... show more
