  • I am pleasantly surprised! Great Torque Wrench for $$$
Style: 3/8" Drive Size: 15 - 80 ft-lb, 14" Length
My larger torque wrench is an expensive, but very well made Snap-on. As much as I love it, I didn't want to spend that much for a smaller 3/8 drive torque wrench. I tried one form Harbor Freight and it was just awful. I took it back... I was hesitant to use Amazon for purchasing a torque wrench for fear I also wouldn't like it. I decided to read the reviews and take my chances on what looks like the best quality for the money. The reviews for this wrench were very favorable, so I decided to take a chance on the Neiko Professional Grade model. I have to say that I am simply thrilled with this purchase! I tend to be pretty picky, especially when it comes to my tools. This is not the cheapest torque wrench by any means. But it certainly is a best buy in my mind. Here is what I like: Nice quality case came with the tool. It can torque both right and left hand directions. The handle adjustment seems very precise, easy to read and it feels like it works as intended. I like the handle. It feels like a very precise click. It clicks loud enough to hear and feel. The tool feels well made. I really don't have any negatives to report. The quality is really fantastic, but not the same as my Snap-On torque wrench. But it really feels good and is less than half the cost (almost a third) of the Snap-On tool. I am really pleased with the quality and I think it represents a very good value. ... show more

  • High capacity torque wrench
Style: 3/4" Drive Size: 50 - 300 ft-lb, 34" Length
I have 4 other torque wrenches but not one that went as high as this for a specific application I had. Was kind of excessive for what might be a single use, but renting one was gong to be the same price. The fit and finish seemed very good, operating it was very good and had a good feel. Case was good. Good value for the product. No complaints. I did not have it independently calibrated but can’t imaging at 250 ft/lbs that it could be that far off. ... show more

  • Fits a need very well.
Style: 1/4" Drive Size: 0 - 80 in-lb, 11" Length, Beam
Lost my last one, got this one quickly and it works very well for light duty fasteners. I'll have a hard time upgrading to something better for my application, especially for the price.

  • 0-80 in-lb as advertised
Style: 1/4" Drive Size: 0 - 80 in-lb, 11" Length, Beam
Tool is sturdy and looks to be well made, including reading "0" at rest. Scale/pointer is easy to read (of course with my reading glasses on), and I like that it reads in both metric (N-m) and English (in-pounds. First used it to torque my bicycle headset bearing preload tightening bolt to 20 in-lb (which seemed to take all the play out of the bearing, even though 27 to 35 in-lb recommended. Cannot attest to absolute calibration, but for such a simple tool no reason to think that it would be off--with only a well know beam-bending equation, steel young's modulus and beam length and diameter geometry involved. ... show more

  • accurate

I don't know what I'm doing when doing car repairs, so I do as much accurate torquing as I can. Bought this a pittsburgh torque wrench and a digital torque meter to do my valve cover. It's over kill, but I can comfirm, all of them read the same. So it is pretty accurate.

  • High Quality, Great Price
Style: 1/4" Drive Size: 0 - 80 in-lb, 11" Length, Beam
This is the second time I've bought NEIKO tools and the second time I've been satisfied with the quality. When companies compromise quality, it's usually because someone didn't go the extra ten feet to save a penny, not the "extra mile." A lot of off-brands cut corners that don't even make sense to cut. NEIKO doesn't do this. It's very hard to find a quality in-lb torque driver, and this results in a lot of copy-cat products within the market segment. This is a good alternative to the screwdriver types made by an assortment of companies with an undoubtedly wide and unpredictable range of quality standards. ... show more
