I wanted some kind of universal wrench (other than a crescent wrench) to carry in the tool kit in my truck. These wrenches suit the bill. They are very cleverly designed and will work in most conditions. Because of the design, I expect they would not stand up loosening tight or rusted bolts, such as using an extension and a hammer (!). Also, they are relatively thick and do not fit in some tight situations, which will require a conventional open-ended wrench.

The media could not be loaded. Each wrench, open and boxed end, can accommodate progressively sized bolt/nuts by snugging the wrench tight against the nut/bolt and pulling (boxed end) or pushing (open end) until you are secure against the threads in the wrench. This eliminates the need for multiple wrenches. They feel quality made, have some heft to them, are thin enough to work in smaller spaces and will come in handy.

Got these for work to cut down on the amount of tools I needed to carry. Right off they are a little heavy but that’s not a bad thing. They seemed a little loose though but I have really put the gusto on these things and they held up. I’m not suggesting that you put cheater pipe on it or use it as a hammer but they do eliminate a couple of tools for me though and work well for what I do.
