It works most of the time. The rest of the time it comes loose or completely falls off and you're looking for the Tracker. I don't know why they don't make these smaller/tighter to hold the device in place.

These bands hold the Tractive, recently merged with Whistle, pet tracker, onto the animal's collar. Extras are something you don't know you need until . . . . These are beige and will blend in well with any fur color/collar combo. I am sharing a picture of the package I received, as well as the one my dog is using now, and his tracker, so people can see what this is and what it is used to attach to your animal's color. The unit and existing band shown are medium, but the bands in the new package are larger. My dog is about 70 lbs. and got a larger Tractive as we adjusted our account for the merger. As far as the quality of the bands, they are easy to use. We keep our attached to the Tractive while charging. It pops right off like a rubber band, and one side has convenient pulls. We have had the service for several years and find the holders to be functional. We have not had one break or come off yet. Keeping some extras is a good value, and it is good to plan ahead. We would not let our dog be without his Tractive attached for a single day. ... show more
