The media could not be loaded. NOTE: example of a close shot reading from this teleprompter is attached. <challenge to not have a lot of eye movement is a close shot or get a shot of the actual equipment in the shot. > I really like this one and the idea of a teleprompter. Not a fan of the software or the remote but once you get used to it, it is fine. Still better than paying for promptsmart each month The set up is, open the box put on the tripod. That easy. Kinda flimsy but not like it's gonna break flimsy. What is amazin is how the pauses and uhs and duhs have disappeared from my talks. Outstanding and professional with out looking down at notes or manuscript! I can stay engaged with my audience. I like it very much. I don't get paid or get a fre usit for this review. I looked at a bunch of them and for the money this one is the best. One thing that does bug me is the 28mm and lower lens limit. I recently purchased the NEEWER Teleprompter X14 PRO with RT-110 Remote & APP Control, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. As a Public Affairs Officer in the military, I have to give plenty of speeches and briefings, so having a reliable teleprompter was essential. The X14 PRO has been incredibly easy to use with my iPad 10 - it took me no time at all to set up and connect it to my device. It's also surprisingly lightweight and portable, which is really convenient when I'm on the go. The screen is bright and clear, making it easy for me to read from a distance, even when under pressure or in a dimly lit room. All in all, I think this is an excellent product - highly recommended!

This teleprompter is an excellent choice for anyone looking to elevate their content creation setup. It comes with a sturdy hard case, making it easy to transport and store, and the build quality is impressive, with Neewer really stepping up their game here. Setup was simple, and I was able to use an external monitor for an HDMI-out mirrored display, which made it easy for the subject to see themselves while looking into the camera. The reflective glass is clear and doesn’t significantly affect the exposure, with only a slight difference that’s hardly noticeable. The prompter is large, making it very easy to read even from a considerable distance, and the size is perfect for larger setups like a home studio. While it may be a bit big for streamers, it’s a great alternative to more expensive options if you already have a tablet or monitor. One thing I really appreciated was how easy it was to adjust everything, from the mounting system to the prompter’s angle. The Arca mount and rod system made it feel incredibly stable, even with my heavier camera setup. The iPad Pro 12.9 fits perfectly, and the reflection is crisp and readable without having to max out the brightness, saving on battery life. The only small downside is the hood material, which is a bit shinier than I’d like, but it hasn’t caused any major issues during use. For the price, this is still an amazing deal, especially since it comes with a hard case, which is rare in this price range. Overall, this teleprompter is a fantastic value for content creators, especially those working with social media or in smaller studios. It’s well-built, performs flawlessly, and will likely pay for itself with just a few projects. Highly recommended!

I do educational videos and I have found this teleprompter to be a wonderful new tool for me. I was using note cards and I found that videos were taking multiple takes and a lot of editing. I still need to edit now that I have a teleprompter, but not nearly as much as previously. However, if (like me) you have never used a teleprompter, there will be a learning curve in setting up your camera. You may need to adjust lighting (your camera may need to be bumped up a half stop). Also, finding the right lens and height for your camera may take some time as the teleprompter forces you and the camera to both be in “happy” places in order to function with the teleprompter (i.e. you need to be able to read the teleprompter and the camera needs to be able to frame you). I found this teleprompter to be superbly made (as is typical with Neewer products). The camera plate, mount, light extensions, and tablet/phone placement areas are made of precision metal and finished with a good grade coating. The glass is very easy to read and reflective, yet the glass has good clarity for your camera. The fabric hood for your camera is a good quality of material and has two drawstring closures. When tightening this around your lens, just make sure all the fabric is out of the way or it may end up in your frame. The entire unit folds into a nice hard shell carrying case with two metal clips and a handle. The case corners are metal reinforced and the case has additional padding inside to keep the teleprompter safe. The case is a nice, small size and doesn’t take up much space. It is not at all heavy. There is an app to download to use with the teleprompter and a remote comes with the unit to bluetooth to your phone or tablet. I used an 11” Android tablet. The app worked well, but I have one small “wish” and that is that there be a way to extend the margins on the app screen so your viewing area is narrower. This would reduce picking up eye movement that might come from reading a wider area and keep your eyes more centrally focused in the lens. Everything else on the app worked well and I like having the remote to control the speed of the words. I use .txt files for my transcript and they loaded perfectly. I would highly recommend this teleprompter if you do any sort of videos where you struggle to make certain all your points are covered. It is easy to read and saves you a ton of editing time. I am very happy with this teleprompter. Five stars.
