It is heavy but it collapses nicely and the carry case is very decent. I use this for still photography, not video. It rolls very smoothly and quickly, quick enough that I sometimes wonder if I can add something to the wheels to increase it's resistance. Not a big deal. The biggest thing is that for a standard photo tripod, you cannot splay out the legs to their full base width. The dolly is too short to accommodate that. I didn't like that at first, but since the dolly locks the tripod into a fixed position, it actually works very well. I don't feel like I've lost any security at all. Due to adding wheels to your system, it will increase the maximum height of your tripod a few inches. If you're moving your tripod around a studio floor a lot, then this could be a real nice addition.

I was looking for a way to maneuver my tripod easily around the studio. This Dolley is heavy duty but I would suggest the 3" wheels over the 2" option. The telescoping legs allows each leg to be independently adjusted for a more stable stance. Once it locked into place it seems like a very sturdy base for just about any size tripod. The 2" unit is ok but it struggles on variable surfaces (carpet, hardwood, tile...). The 3" wheel option is better and smoother in general operation. The storage bag is nice to have for transport and comes in handy for light protection. I am overall very happy with this purchase and seems to be high quality metal and plastic and should last a long time.

Easy to set up and the feel of quality immediately apparent. Wheel locks work well. Arms are solidly constructed and do not flex in my applications - which include a heavy studio tripod, Panasonic SH-1 with battery grip and cage, plus a separate monitor on a Manfrotto arm. Heavy. Easily climbs up onto carpet from hard flooring with the larger wheels. Attachment points for tripod legs support a variety of sizes and style of leg. Overall feeling of quality and sturdiness. I get it that when one sees the word "dolly" one might think this would work for doing dolly shots. But I think that is an unfair expectation. If you want smooth dolly shots you would likely need a smooth surface and some expensive equipment. These, on the other hand, are fantastic for making your lights and camera tripod portable around the studio. How did I make do without them? Highly recommended.

I bought this dolly for my Celestron 5 SE telescope and its attached Celestron Lithium battery pack. Weight total 22.1 lbs. The telescope tripod attached to the the dolly quite easily. I can detach quite easily as well for telescope transportation. The telescope moves quite easily in any direction I move it. The dolly is made of high quality material. The price I paid for this dolly was very reasonable compared to other dollies made specifically for moving telescopes around. This dolly is quite stable and when I lock its wheels the telescope does not move at all. If you need a telescope dolly, this is the one to get. This Company sent me the dolly quite fast and the dolly was well packaged. Do not hesitate to buy a Neewer Tripod dolly you'll be glad you did. I read reviews before buying this dolly of other shoppers and now I can see why they were all fully satisfied with this dolly.
