The set of a dozen magnets was received in an appropriate-sized gift box, each in their own little indented spot. Each magnet is brightly colored inside the crystal-clear resin dome. The magnets are strong enough to stay put while holding a great-grandchild's scribbled chicken drawing to the fridge simultaneously as another magnet holding a 2nd drawing of the scribbled chicken being served for dinner. These magnets are gorgeous! A little bigger than I thought, maybe just over an inch in diameter. That said, I would never categorize these as “strong“ magnets. Yes, they will hold a photograph on my refrigerator. But I was a little disappointed as I was looking for magnets that could hold two or three at a time. They aren’t weak, but they are definitely not strong. Just average as far as decent refrigerator magnets go. But it’s worth repeating, they are absolutely beautiful. And the packaging was really amazing, they came in a cute little gift box set into foam so they would stay put in the box and not rattle around. It really made it look like a nice little gift.
