  • Very nice.

Bigger than expected. No problem covering my 300mm lens with room to spare.

  • Almost perfect!
Size: Small
I'm returning the large size Newer cover and keeping this one. My Oly OM-D EM-1 was absolutely swimming in the larger size! This one fits my camera perfectly (and likely the Oly OM-1 also) except for the zooming of the lens. To reach into the cover with my hand the thumb must be on top. (You can zoom the lens from the OUTISIDE of the cover, but it will eventually wear the cover thin.) If the tripod collar (I use an omnipod in the rain) is loose around the lens you can hold the lens and twist the camera. A little uncomfortable but much better than covering your camera with a DIY device. ... show more

  • Well designed and SO worth the price. Fits full-sized mirrorless or DSLR cameras.
Size: Mini
This is another excellent Neewer product and for the price, you can't go wrong. I already own a rain cover for my Nikon Z9 that costs five times as much. That one might be a little more convenient because it has a dedicated eyepiece poking out of the rain cover so that you can look directly through the camera's viewfinder but this Neewer rain cover keeps the rain out just as well. And, with Neewer's rain cover installed, I didn't have a problem looking-through the camera's eyepiece to focus or check composition despite the fact I was also looking through the clear plastic of the rain cover. The rain cover is well constructed with a special waterproof zipper that's easy to unzip and everything stores conveniently in a small pouch that you can tuck in your camera bag. I was able to use this rain cover with my large Nikon Z9 with attached L-bracket. It can accommodate any wide angle zooms including the large diameter 14mm - 24mm f/2.8 Z lens as well as any lens up to the medium telephotos. Well designed and SO worth the price. ... show more

  • Well working solution; lots of space; easy to operate camera inside
Size: Small
This rain cover is roomy and even with a 200mm lens it seems big. The manual unfortunaely is for version S and L , PB003 and PB004, so I do not know what I have here. I tested also with a smaller Sony Zoom lens and it is manageable with all the extra fabric, it is like a pair of pants that is too long. With regards to the marketing images and compared to what I received, there seems to be a discrepancy: if the NEEWER logo (which is the actual opening for the camera strap and can be closed with Velcro) is on the top with the window below, then the Dual Zipper is on the top as well - I am not sure if that is meant that way. I can also rotate the cover 180 degrees and that bring the zipper to the bottom and also the logo -- that feels more natural, also considering that in case you use a tripod, you would want the opening on the bottom. See my attached images where 1 image shows how it looks when the logo would be upside. The rest of the images shows the other way around (zipper and logo at the bottom). So, basically, it can work either way, but don't be confused with the marketing images where the logo is on the top and the zipper on the bottom, that is not the case with the model version I received. Regarding the usability: because the front portion of the cover is so long and has some stiffer seams integrated, I can even create a kind of rim over the lens front edge. The clear window area is large and the screen can be easily seen, also looking thru the viewfinder works (probably until there's too much water on the window). Getting the hands inside and operating the camera works well. Putting the camera on a tripod requires to leave the zipper slightly open, if you use the rain cover with the zipper on the bottom. That does even work if I use the tripod mount of the longer lens (which is in the middle of the lens to distribute weight better). For regular tripod mounts directly to the camera that zipper works as well. I don't see issues handling this cover on a tripod. The other scenario is that I would use camera straps: the can go through the opening where the NEEWER logo is located -- in my version that is below the window. The Velcro closes the opening tightly. Carrying the camera with the straps works and if you take a photo the opening would be located on the bottom of the window (in opposite to the marketing images where it is on the top). I start thinking that I got either an updated version with the logo and opening on the bottom because that way it is out of your way when taking a photo or an older version -- I don't know. Overall, I guess with camera straps and being out in the rain it will always require some fumbling around to take a shot. For me this rain cover works quite well and the only reason for not giving five stars is that I am curious if there is room for improvement for camera rain covers and what else is possible. Otherwise, I am happy with this cover. ... show more

  • Works great with my smaller Olympus DSLR kit
Size: Mini
Given that my Olympus DSLR kit is much smaller than my other Sony camera with a 24-70 lens, I was a bit worried that the rain cover was going to feel too baggy for the camera. It actually works great with my smaller Olympus camera and I can now feel more comfortable using the non-weather-sealed lens in not-so-ideal conditions. The rain cover does take a bit of finagling to get it to fit well with my camera. But once I got everything straightened out, it stayed on very well and was very protective. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Works well, but somewhat limited in size. Better for photographers than videographers.
Size: Mini
I do a lot of run-and-gun video work on-location, and sometimes am expected to keep filming even if the weather isn't cooperating. This has been a challenge in the past as there's rarely a time when I want to truly test how weather-tight my expensive cinema camera and gear is (or isn't). And throwing a plastic grocery bag over your rig doesn't always look... super professional. So I've been on the lookout for something like this. I'd say this is a great solution for photographers and a decent one for videographers. It's size and shape means you're mostly limited to a camera body and lens, so larger cinema rigs like mine, with an external mic, field monitor, etc. are a non-starter. So if I'm using this in the field, it means I'm using a stripped down setup... which isn't ideal, but if the alternative is not filming at all, I'll take it. I think this is a much more elegant solution for photographers. I don't know that I'd gamble on it keeping everything absolutely bone-dry if it was out in the rain all day, but It's a huge step up from a plastic bag, and a good value for the price. ... show more
