I bought this to do art by and to light my art when I take pictures of it. I plugged into AC power with an adapter and it worked fine in October when I bought it. Life got a bit crazy and I have not worked on my art since October so I have not turned it on since the original test until today. It will not turn on. The light turns on for a split second and immediately shuts off. I tried 3 different adapters and no luck. I pulled out a hand held power bank and it worked but when I unplugged it from the bank and plugged it back in it would no longer work. So, I brought out my 150 watt power bank. It worked but drained the power station very fast and when I unplugged it and plugged it back in it would no longer light. Next, I pulled out my 500 watt power station that gives more information in the display. The light worked. It is also drawing between 10 and 13 watts .That is high wattage for a device that is advertised to run off of a power bank or lap top. There is something wrong with this light and I am not going to risk damaging a 400.00 power station with a 25.00 light so the thing is useless to me. And of course, my return window is closed. If the seller makes this right I will change my star rating....ok the seller was fabulous. They sent me another light so I upped my rating to 4 stars and will up the rating to 5 stars if it keeps working. Also, even though I was beyond my return date with Amazon their employee went above and beyond to put me in touch with the seller and she called me back twice to make sure the situation had been resolved so applause for Amazon on this transaction too. Ok. I have not needed my replacement light until today. I went to turn it on and I have the EXACT same problem as I did with the first light. My advice, don't by this rotten piece of garbage unless you just enjoy flushing your hard earned money down the toilet. I would give this product zero stars if I could. Did I mention I really needed this light today ?

Great stand! I liked the remote that came with it to take pictures. The legs of the stand are very delicate - be careful when you put it away! We actually also purchased a photo light just in case the ring wasn’t bright enough in our “club” set up. I am glad that we did because I don’t think this would have been enough. It was great and easy to set up.

The “gooseneck arm” they include with it to mount your phone inside of the ring light doesn’t have rotate in a way that allows your camera to face the correct direction, so you essentially have a tripod mounted ring light with no way to mount your phone in the center of it, rendering the product useless. Don’t recommend.
