  • Great quality and looks great
I needed a tripod for my camera and this is exactly what I needed. The material is very good quality. Feels sturdy in your hands. Has a lot of adjustments at both the base as well as the angle of your camera. Just a couple of turns and you’re set to go. That being said there is a good amount of weight to it so if you want something plastic that weighs nearly nothing this is not the one I mounted my camera and let it run overnight to capture a Timelapse in the middle of some high wind gusts and it held up perfectly. ... show more

  • Better than many cheap knockoffs
I recently purchased this tripod for recording videos, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. Neewer is a brand I had heard about before and trust. The design of the tripod is both sturdy and lightweight, making it easy to move around and set up. 77 inches is as much as you will need for basically any situation, since you want it to be at least as tall as the person you are filming. One of the standout features of this tripod is the fluid head with adjustable resistance. This allows me to make smooth, precise movements while filming, and the adjustable resistance allows me to customize the amount of resistance to my liking. Another great feature of this tripod is the ability to hang a counterweight from the center column. This provides additional stability and ensures that the tripod doesn't tip over, even when using heavy cameras on an incline. In addition to its impressive features, the tripod also comes with an excellent carrying case. One of the things that surprised me the most about this tripod is its ability to easily convert into a monopod. This is a great feature to have, as it allows me to switch between using the tripod and monopod quickly and easily. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of this tripod. It has way more features than I expected for the price, and it has proven to be a valuable tool for recording videos. I highly recommend this tripod to anyone in need of a sturdy, reliable, and versatile tripod for their filming needs. ... show more

  • Very solid
This is very solid and sturdy. I am not a pro photographer, but using this to shoot videos makes them perfectly stable, improving the quality of the video. It also has versatile features and a simple carry bag. I recommend this.

  • Sturdy
I've only tested it for a moment so far, but with my lumix f300 camera, I was able to get it on and standing within 1 minute wothout any instructions. Pretty straight forward, and sturdy.

  • Very Well Built, Affordable, Packs Small
I was on the fence about buying this or a more expensive carbon fiber tripod. If you do a little research, it's easy to see that carbon fiber options can easily exceed the weight of this tripod. I'm a videographer and I am constantly looking for ways to reduce the footprint of my kit. The fact that this folds to a much smaller size is excellent. I would suggest limiting the weight on these to smaller zooms and maybe use a lighter sandbag as a weight (I have various weights for different things). The legs are stable, but a decent kick from a leg might make them collapse. Pros - Size and weight is excellent, feels well built, folds down compactly, hook for sandbag, head feels solid Concerns - legs get very thin when opened 100% All said, I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more
