I actually don't have any magic arms but I've found this to be very helpful on shoots. I can position my equipment at almost any angle, offering maximum flexibility for various shooting scenarios. Whether I need a precise angle for a camera monitor or a specific position for a video light, this arm can handle it with ease. Be careful while adjusting. While the arm is highly adjustable, you need to ensure the lever is tightened securely to prevent any movement, especially with heavier equipment. I almost dropped a monitor due to not securing it.

Very nice quality magic arm at a nice price point. Solid build quality and finish. The 1/4 20 male knobs are such a nice feature and make adding this thing to any rig quick and easy. Locks down solid and it's been holding up very well to normal use, and even a drop or too. Length might be a tad short for some uses, but it's perfect for adding mics, monitors, or a little stiffness to car rig set ups. A really nice arm to have in the kit.
