It does work, and less than $20 I don't think it will have many drawbacks. Of course, I don't think it's right to ask too many requests for such a low-priced but well-made product. Honestly, I only need it to work properly. It did, it was a very simple phantom power supply. No instructions are required, just look at it a little. The power is stable and there is no heat to ensure safety. So, think about its price, it's worth your try.

This usb phantom has been the best for powering my microphone directly to my computer. It's amazing the difference it makes when I use this power supply. 48V power for uninterrupted and clean sound, no signal interference or short circuiting. Reliably delivers my sound on one single channel with universal input and output and even came with a xlr audio cable. Simple on/off switch with indicator light. Super easy to operate and is the best for supplying power to my mic.

If bought this same unit previously and it came with a wall plug. This one does not. It does come with a USB cord so a phone charger plug etc works. Otherwise, nice product. The mic cord seems decent.

The phantom power supply I received works great! It's a compact console that doesn't take up much space at all, but does the job as expected. This hardware gives my condenser microphone more power and higher gain. This is must have for better sound. Simple assembly and quick plug and play right to my computer with microphone xlr usb cable. I need the utmost best quality for my demo recordings and this gives the boost my microphone needed.

I don't know if it's just the one I got or not, but the output volume is the same whether this is on or off. I tried installing new drivers, reinstalling drivers, adjusting every setting on my PC but nothing seems to boost the output. At full volume I can barely hear the playback. Update: I just replaced this with another product that was only $10 more and works perfectly. I can now heard my own playback crisp and clear. I don't know if I am allowed to say which product, but it is also USB powered and does a wonderful job.

my biggest and only issue with this microphone is that when the mic is plugged into the amp, and the amp is plugged into my pc with the usb and then the mic input itself, i get a nonstop super obnoxious whistling sound. now maybe im just dumb and dont know how on earth to get this to work right (and if i am please help me lmfao), but whenever i plug in my neewer nw700 microphone to the amp and then plug in the usb power to my pc, i get nothing but obnoxious whistling sounds constantly. the sound goes away once i turn the amp off and my mic sounds like a solid 10/10, however my mic loses power shortly after. ive been told by nearly everyone that the sound only happens when wires are crossed but thats not my case since non of my wires cross at all.

I ordered it, it arrived three days earlier than the expected delivery date. As far as efficiency and ease of use, it's a simple plug and play operation, no instructions really required, and it has strengthened my condenser mic input for my twitch streaming. My viewers can hear me perfectly clear now and I don't have to talk any louder than a casual tone to feel like I'm screaming or being super loud in order for everybody to hear me. Reliable and low noise power source for miking.
