My 14-year-old daughter loves this vanity, so it’s a win for me. Even my wife says how jealous she is, wishing she had one when she was a kid. The end results are good, but I won’t lie, it wasn’t the smoothest or quickest process to get there. The instructions mostly showed diagrams with only a few text descriptions. There were many different pieces to match up and put together, with a total of 32 steps. I had my daughter help me with assembly, but even then, it took several hours to complete. I didn’t like that most of the hardware parts didn’t have extras. For instance, there were just enough Cam Lock Fastener Screws to get the job done, but no spares. One of them had a damaged head that didn’t properly hold into the Cam Lock, so I had to improvise. Another difficulty I ran across was that the screws routinely broke off a section of the surface coating on the boards. That’s with me carefully and slowly using a handheld screwdriver. Thankfully I found that those areas got covered by the end, so wasn’t as big a deal. There are 10 bulbs total and each one has 8 LEDs. 4 of the LEDs are for producing orange light whereas the other 4 are for white light. They are plenty bright enough for clear seeing in the mirror, and I like that they don’t need to be routinely replaced like standard bulbs would have. The wires connecting the bulbs at the back of the vanity look a bit messy, so I recommend only using the vanity against a wall. The bench is fairly small and doesn’t have the thickest padding, but it does work well with the vanity. It slides underneath and out of the way. The two drawers open and shut smoothly, offering a nice area for storage. I like the handles. There’s a raised shelf just below the mirror where a magnifying mirror can be set to aid in makeup application. The controller for the lights, which controls brightness and color, does feel a bit like an afterthought. While it works fine for the most part, the adhesive doesn’t hold it to the desk. It falls and comes off easily to the point where I had to use my own method to attach it better. Overall, I do recommend this vanity if you don’t mind the tedious process of assembling it. It’s sized for kids and teens, but a bit small for adults. While I would not say it’s of the highest quality, it does feel solid and sturdy. ... show more

This vanity is cute. It’s on the smaller side but works for my needs. The lights can be bright white or dim. Has a lot of storage space. I love that I can use the lights to light up my room when I don’t want the ceiling light on. Make sure you have about 3 free hours to build it though. My husband was watching football as he built it and it took him around 3 hours to get it done. Every thing needs to be put together. Nothing was missing or broken which is great. The stool is covered with plastic in the picture I posted. I want to leave it on for now so it doesn’t get dirty lol! The stool is small but it holds my weight just fine at 144 lbs. This is the perfect size vanity for me. I’m able to get close enough to the mirror to get my make up on with out having to lean over too much.
