I hurt my knee and I think it is a ligament tear on the outside of my knee. Or possibly, I.T.B.S. My Dr didn't think I needed an MRI. He gave me PRP and later, a steroid shot. It is slowly getting better, but my knee sometimes feels unstable. I was using a bandage wrap, but it didn't help. This brace applies support and helps keep my knee from moving around too much. It does not fit under pants, but it's June in South Texas, so I'm in shorts almost all the time. When I ordered it, the instructions were very clear about what size to select. I chose medium, and it fits fine. It's easy to clean, and comfortable if you don't pull the straps too tight. I wasn't so concerned about the price as long as it provides adequate support and stability. I had a torn meniscus and sprained ACL in my other knee, and after 3 sessions of PRP and also a couple of steroid injections, it feels great. I wish I had used this on that knee, but my Dr didn't encourage my using a brace on it.

Brace fits excellent.. slides on and uses only 2 straps. It's very supportive and doesn't have punch points. I can feel a difference in my knee after only using it 7 hours at work.. I highly recommend this knee brace . Money well spent.

This knee brace offers excellent support for anyone suffering from a meniscus tear, allowing them to stand and move about with comparative ease and a much-reduced level of pain... so, no complaints there. Be advised, however: you're probably best off ordering a size larger than that indicated by the maker's accompanying chart, on this site. I originally ordered a size XL, which was what was initially indicated; and the darned thing ended up being so impossibly tight, it practically required baby oil and a chain-driven winch to get it off again. ;) I reordered, opting for a 2XL instead, and it fit like the proverbial glove. Learn from my easily avoidable mistake: order one size up, and enjoy the full benefits of this otherwise excellent product.

It has helped to reduce the occasional discomfort and allows me to do more activities . The brace fits my knee well and I can adjust the firmness of fit to my liking. To all the reviews saying that you should get the next size up from what you measure..... You're clearly measuring your knee and not 6" above the knee as specified. I ordered the next size up and it's entirely too big. The straps are almost loose and I have them tightened as far as they will go. I should have ordered what I measured.

I actually bought two of these and one for my wife. I use it for a variety exercises and have used it consistently, daily since purchase in June. Today when I was slipping it off over my calf, the inside support, snapped for some reason, came through the lining and as I slipped it down my leg to remove it, the jagged edge of the broken support sliced a 4 inch gash in the inside of my leg. Clearly this product design is flawed, and does not last long. I have been very careful slipping it on and off. The inside support snapping and tearing through the thin lining was random and arbitrary and and unavoidable. I would recommend finding a product with stronger reinforced lining and more sturdy support. I believe the support is plastic. Obviously the brace is no longer safe to use and I am clearly uncomfortable with the other one. I am ten days over Amazon return policy, so I need to know how Amazon addresses an issue like this and their integrity will clearly be tested. Stay tuned. Update July 24: Amazon has ignored the review and other inquiries. While the cost is minimal, I'd still expect a refund. More importantly it is a safety concern and by ignoring it, Amazon apparently is indifferent. If it were to happen again while Amazon continues to knowingly sell it, I imagine the circumstances would change. There are other knee braces that are more substantial and protect the leg, I'd advise to review those before finalizing a purchase of this product.
