We got this as a money tree for my son's wedding. It doesn't look like a real tree, though the "birchbark" like covering on it is cute. My only complaint was some of the branches were a little too light to hold gift cards without tipping it over. It held paper money just fine. We ran out of branches, so I think it was a success.

This is just what I’ve been looking for for a few years to display holiday cards in a neat and decorative fashion without just laying them all jumbled over the buffet. It’s perfect for that! You can use it with lights turned on or off. It takes 2 AA batteries. They are easy to put in. You can take the clips off and use the tree without card clipped to it. I will be using this as a seasonal decoration whenever I have a lot of cards to display, but it would not keep it out as a permanent decoration in my hous. I don’t think it’s durable enough for that, and it does look a little cheap in its surface covering. You don’t really see that, though, when the cards on it are the focus. One little down side is that it seams like some bigger cards are a little too heavy and weigh the branches down or tip to the side. You can kind of prop heavier cars up with the little wire decorations coming off the main branches or just stand up cards on the table next to it.

I needed a gift for a teenager whose favorite thing is money. I do not usually give cash and certainly not in an envelope with a card. I found this money tree and thought it was the perfect solution. It worked great and everyone loved it, including the birthday girl. I filled it with tissue paper, tiny sticker photos of us and $2 bills (to keep this project fairly budget friendly). I love that it has a timer option so the batteries don't die on day one. It came with clips and the smallest branches are bendable wire. It's pretty sturdy for being so lightweight. Not too big to carry or set on a dresser but large enough to be a centerpiece. While the effect is clearly made of tape, it has a very good white birch tree look.

Easy to setup money tree option that makes a great way of presenting multiple gift cards, currency, or as a place for people to attach monetary gifts at a party. I have done this many times, but this is the first item that I've used made specifically for this purpose. A few thoughts: -It doesn't look like a real tree, so be aware of this if that's important to you. -the lights are a nice touch! Clips slide on top of them to highlight the gifts attached -the branches are bendable which is nice since you can adjust them as necessary depending on what you want to attach. That also means they can be folded back down for easy storage if you want to reuse it -At the current price of $17 value is okay but not great - Requires 3 AA batteries which are not included

Assembly is super easy, and requires 3 AA batteries. The birch style tape is cute, but really noticeable close up. I'm thinking about painting over this because it's a little cheap looking when you're really up close.

I think compared to other products like this, this is a good deal; however, it does look pretty cheap. If you display it in a dim room you'd never notice though, and the effect is really beautiful.
