This is for the 16 oz. red lid jar for very dry skin. My mom used Eucerin decades ago and it was. thick and heavy--a bit hard to apply BUT it worked wonders. My skin has become very dry--long--story so I ordered this expecting the same product. It is not. One reviewer said chemicals have been added and there is a pretty long list of ingredients but this is dye, scent and Paragon-free (the latter being a preservative so I do not know the shelf life of this). I have used it for two days only and it far excels anything else I have used. It is creamy and easy to apply. I use it on hands, elbows and especially my rough heels. With daily use I don't expect shelf life to be a problem. This isn't my mother's Eucerin which may disappoint some, but I could not be happier. ... show more

I have severely dry skin due to illness and age, and I've tried to find natural lotions that are deeply moisturizing without having reapply frequently--Alba Botanica makes a great one (Super Emollient) but you still have to reapply fairly often. Some of my skin felt like literal sandpaper but was still soft and moisturized three days later after applying this cream! It's not totally natural, but it's not full of awful chemicals, either.
