We haven’t had it for long but this feels like a great mattress so far. Soft and supportive at the same time. Such a great value for the price. However, shipping was a real hassle. Amazon shipped this through USPS. The day it was supposed to arrive, the mail carrier left us a note that said it was too big to deliver. They left this note in the mailbox, not at our doorstep so by the time we got it, the post office was closed for the weekend. Went to the post office during the work day, waited in a long line, and they had the package. Luckily, the gentleman helping me helped carry it to my car. Amazon/Nectar should change shipping methods ASAP, as the whole point of ordering a mattress on Amazon is to have it delivered to me. ... show more

Amazingly easy and so much more comfortable than the mattress it replaced. No odor, inflated quickly. For my size 150ish pounds, it is firm and solid, a little too firm for side sleeping, but I just popped the old topper in cover on this and it is wonderful. If you need extra support around edges because you like to sit and tie shoes, it may not be the best choice, but I am loving it. I’ve had the bed for about 5 months now, great bed. Have no issues with temperature, comfort, fit or support. I am 6ft 250lbs. I got a queen size and it’s working out great. I’d say the only thing reviews were correct about is, sitting on the edge will cause you to slowly slip off the bed. Edges are much more softer than the center.     • Nectar does not live up to the hype!

I ordered this mattress based on its good reviews to replace an old memory foam mattress that was about 7 years old. I was also convinced by the risk-free in home trial guarantee that Nectar advertises. Big mistake! I slept on this mattress for several months and found it much firmer and less comfortable than expected. Nectar’s advertising materials say it will break in, but it was still uncomfortable after months of normal use. I was waking up with back pain and soreness, and this affected my sleep quality. I decided to return the mattress using Nectar’s in-home trial guarantee, as it was outside Amazon’s return window. This process was anything but risk-free. Nectar makes you jump through hoops to return the mattress: it takes several emails just to get an RMA, then it must be picked up by their donation partner and inspected, and then they won’t give you a cash-equivalent refund but instead a prepaid Mastercard. I refused this and asked for a check or ACH transfer (which was within their policy at the time of purchase) and they refused. After contacting Resident Home’s (Nectar’s parent company) legal department, I was offered a settlement instead of a refund with a non-disclosure agreement keeping me from giving an honest review. I refused this settlement and was ghosted by their legal counsel. After filing a complaint with my state’s Attorney General, Resident Home refused to cooperate with the AG’s attempts to mediate. I am still owed a refund of nearly $1000, and will probably have to file a lawsuit to get it. I wound up buying a Tempur Pedic Cloud Hybrid mattress and am much happier with it. The quality of Tempur Pedic foam is much better and it costs a few hundred dollars more. I am sleeping better and my back is hurting less. You get what you pay for! Summary: If I could, I would give Nectar zero stars. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand. Nectar’s mattresses aren’t worth it at over $900, the foam is nowhere near Tempur Pedic’s quality, and their risk-free in-home trial is anything but risk free. ... show more

Much like you are doing now, I spent a lot of time on Amazon looking for anew mattress. I chose this one based upon customer reviews and it was manufactured by a well known company. Well, I do like a firm mattress but this one is really firm. The description said that it was Medium Firm. I would say that it is Medium Firm, Firm. Rather than go through the hassle of trying to return a mattress, I chose to put a 2 inch thick gel, memory foam topper on top of it. I chose the 2 inch as I felt that the 3 inch topper would be too soft. The combination of the firm support of the mattress and the 2 inch gel foam topper is working great. ... show more

on vacation slept on one of those $6,000 mattresses while at a family member's house got home couldn't sleep on mine this mattress is a good budget friendly mattress and worth the money doesn't sleep quite as good as the $6,000 one but it sleeps a hell of a lot better than the one I had

I write this review nearly 10 months after purchase. As with anything that can wear over time- you never know what you will get until you have ridden it out just a little bit. PROS: -Slightly lighter than most memory foam -Stays cooler than most memory foam -10 months in, we do a 180 rotation every 3 months, switch sides every 3 months. NO PERMANENT DIVOTS YET! -easy to move on when adjusting in the middle of the night unlike some memory foam mattresses. - Cover comes off, easy to clean, doesn't hold much body soil anyways. CONS: -if you don't have dog legs on your frame, or a recess for the mattress it will slide very easily. - Fabric pills very easily on the cover, even after removal. Overall- Happy with the purchase, quality, and nights sleep I have had on this since purchase. Would buy again. ... show more
