I think this bed is seriously impressive. It feels amazing to sleep on every single night. The support is outstanding, and I wake up feeling properly supported instead of stiff or sore. The thickness, especially on top of a metal frame, makes the bed sit fairly high, which I actually like. It gives it a substantial, a huge functional feel as we use under the bed as storage now. On top of that, it’s incredibly cozy and i think for me it is the perfect balance of supportive and comfortable. The main reason I replaced my old mattress was the noise and back pain. It creaked every time I moved, and it was constantly waking my partner up. This mattress completely solved that problem. It’s totally silent so far, and that makes getting in and out of bed is peaceful now, and there’s no more disruption during the night. As for weight, it is pretty hefty. Moving it wasn’t the easiest task, but that also speaks to its solid build quality. Overall, it’s been a major upgrade and absolutely worth it. ... show more

I’m very pleased with the quality and price of this mattress! I tested dozens of mattresses in store (none Nectar) and found that of all the styles an all foam one worked best for me. Then it was a matter of finding one for less than $1k that still was good quality. The box was a little heavy but I was able to get the mattress out and onto the frame alone. Immediately after cutting the plastic off the mattress grew to almost its full size in less than 30 minutes but looked really lumpy on the sides and the corners didn’t fill out. 48 hours later and the corners are pretty much filled out and the bed has reached its final firmness level and doesn’t look lumpy at all. There was the slightest scent on the mattress immediately after opening but only when putting my nose on the mattress and it went away in minutes. I got the medium firm and it’s on the firmer side. I’m 200lbs and I don’t feel like I’m sinking into it but it’s still extremely comfortable and shapes to my body. The top layer feels cool to the touch but after putting sheets and blankets on you can’t feel anything. Overall for less than $1k I’d say it’s a great deal. After a year with this mattress, I can say with confidence it’s all marketing hype. It feels comfortable at first, but it doesn’t last. After a few months, I started having back pain I never had before. The mattress clearly loses its support over time, with noticeable sagging, and it no longer provides basic comfort or stability. Upgraded from an original Casper mattress, and this Nectar Premium Plus mattress is an upgrade in every way. Our Casper lasted 10 years, and I have nothing bad to say about it. The price for a new Casper mattress that was comparable to the original was financially to much for us to spend. I wanted to wait until I'd used the bed for awhile to leave any sort of feedback on it. I've had the bed for a couple months now and I have to say whatever advertisement this mattress has for any sort of firmness doesn't seem apparent when you sleep on this mattress. The bed is very plush for a memory foam bed and a huge upgrade on my previous bed. It doesn't cause me to sweat at all through the night and doesn't trap odors inside. I moved from a Zinus Green Tea mattress because after about a year of use the 8in mattress was causing me to sink. I don't feel that with this mattress as much but it definitely shows signs of wear after a short while. The bed is comfortable but unlike when I first bought the mattress is no longer a solid nights rest. It's far more plush than I was expecting it to be. I bought this specific mattress for the cooling function, the sheer thickness of the bed itself, and to move from a twin to a much larger bed with more room for me to adjust throughout the night when I become uncomfortable. All in all, I would recommend anyone that looks into purchasing this mattress to try and find a showroom display of it before committing as I would have happily tried before buying if I could have. ... show more

I love this mattress. I have hEDS and the amount of joint pressure relief this mattress gives in comparison to my old mattress is actually insane. I’ve been sleeping on it for about a week and I’ve gone from waking up in horrible pain to slightly sore which is a massive improvement with my condition. The mattress fluffed up pretty quickly and it did have an odd smell but it went away within a day or two. The thickness is great I honestly have nothing bad or even remotely negative to say about it.
