I bought the 12" version of this mattress a little over a month ago and am enjoying it. I would definitely say it's on the firm side of medium. There is a thin layer of very soft foam, but there is noticeable firmness underneath that layer. If you are looking for more softness, get the one with the thicker mattress. Unpacking was as expected. It unfolded normally and filled out with no wrinkles or noticeable odors. The sides do not compress much when I sit on them, so that is good as well. I'm curious about the longevity of the mattress, but at this price point, I can buy another when this one wears out. Definitely worth the money from my perspective. ... show more

Very nice mattress.

Loving this mattress, soft enough but firm enough at the same time, good to wait the full time for it to expand, You don't have to go the 72 hours, I waited a little over 30 and it was fine. I got the adjustable bed frame to, works great together. no smell, body doesn't get hot.

Worth the money

Super comfortable. Easy to get set up. Was able to use it within an hour of opening. Did take a couple of days for it to fully expand and there was a slight smell from it. But that went away a day later and I figure it was just from the plastic wrapping.

Nice Mattress
I’ve been sleeping in this mattress for several weeks now so I can offer my assessment. This replaced a very inexpensive mattress that was horrible to sleep on. This mattress is a huge improvement. I like the hybrid style and it seems firm enough that it offers good support and soft enough that I don’t wake up sore. This is an amazing mattress. If you have lower back pain, I had a lot of inflammation from my old mattress almost overnight of sleeping on this mattress my lower back pain started going away after a week. Very comfortable mattress
Extremely comfortable mattress! Once you have the frame set up just pop open the mattress it will expand and you then just adjust to it to fit the frame.
