The Bed Frame & Headboard by Nectar, is a very strong and stable bed frame capable of handling up to 700 pounds while providing a great appearance. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and a few things to consider before buying. I. Quality – There’s little doubt that this is a well-made frame that has a sturdy construction, made out of good quality materials. I’d put this one in the lower side of the top tier for a bed frame and guess it’ll hold up well over time. II. Assemble – Its fairly easy as far as bed frames go, but slightly more involved than the more basic ones. Everything was conveniently tucked into the headboard itself and the instructions were straightforward. III. Performance – This frame feels very solid and doesn’t make any noise when moved around. The designs attractive in person, but darker grey then the pictures depicts. It provides about 8 inches of space underneath, which is nice to have, but I prefer 12+ inches. The wood slates under the mattress do a good job of providing support thus removing the need for a box spring. Overall, I’m super happy with this frame. It’s been very sturdy, doesn’t make any noise and looks great while doing it. It’s definitely steps above any normal metal bed frame, that’ll give you a rock solid base for you to build a sleeping surface on. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Ordered this to replace the frame we had in the little ones room. It's a basic twin frame, instructions were clear and to the point and after it was completly assembled, seems super sturdy and durable. Passed the jump on the bed and no one fell off and hit thier head test.

This is the most amazing bed i've ever had! I was able to get it set up with the help of my 10 year old (teaching him to follow instructions and how to build furniture). The height of the headboard is spot on for my barn shaped ceiling! It goes right up to where the wall and ceiling meet. The headboard also has a nice zipper going around the back of it, i'm sure to access the insides of the headboard, but I use it to store a few items in and it works amazingly! The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's darker than pictured, more like a charcoal gray, which happens to be exactly what I had wanted but decided to sacrifice for a lighter color when selecting this bed. I was very pleasantly surprise by the color difference. The height underneath the bed is insane! We went from a boxspring on the floor to this magnificent space, and I currently have my pack n play stores underneath, a couple under the bed storage totes, and my kids and dog still have room to hide under the bed. The bed itself is VERY sturdy. We are a family of 8 and have all been on the bed at once to test it out and it held up perfectly, no wobble or anything. We have 2 Nectar Twin XLs installed together on this frame and they fit perfectly, leaving about an inch on one side of the mattresses. Overall I highly recommend this bed and have absolutely no complaints. ... show more

Quality is definitely in this product. It is a nice frame and headboard, very durable, modern, and stylish. A little more is required to assemble because it is not your basic bedframe, but it is not too difficult. It sits a little lower than I am used to but that is an adjustment I am willing to get used to...this is a great setup, sturdy and well made. And when you move on it there is no squeaking or sounds to alarm you that it is anything but supportive. It is a good buy. ... show more

The frame arrived in a large box weighing a little over 90lbs. Its pretty heavy, but it was boxed up compact and nicely inside the headboard. The instructions were easy to follow and I found it easy to assemble on my own. Unfortunately we were missing a screw for part of the frame. It seems to be holding fine without it, but I'll be contacting them for a screw. We purchased the grey and it is a lot darker than the pictures. Its a deeper charcoal than it is a heather grey if that helps. I didn't mind as its for my son and it matches the rest of his decor. I do like that the main frame and middle bar is metal. I do wish the slats were metal too so its more sturdy, but the wood slats are close enough that it shouldn't bend too much over time. The slats itself were rolled and velcro'd together so you simply unroll and velcro to the sides of the frame. I was afraid that the bed would be too low to the ground, but to my surprise, it has a 7.5-8 inch clearance from the ground and fits the underbed storage totes just fine. ... show more

Likes - I like the headboard- The headboard has a classic modern look esp in the linen dark grey material. It’s also comfortable - it’s tufted which provides a cushion for my back when I’m sitting up in bed. It’s also deep so I can rest my head on the top as well. i really like that the frame includes solid flat wood slates that appear high quality. Not like some rubbery patially Wood or narrow metal slates in some other frames I’ve seen. I feel like these slates provide good support with my hybrid mattress. I like that the frame is wrapped in linen material cushioned around the exterior edge, it gives the frame a luxurious look. I like that the legs are tall enough allowing underboard storage. I can fit my under bed storage box easily enter my bed. My only dislike is the plastic corner legs. They are black, wide and tall. They look fine and don’t necessarily like plastic especially from a far but they do feel like plastic. The bed does have metal middle supporting legs too on each side and in the middle of the bed frame. This headboard and frame well made and sturdy. The frame requires assembly, which took me about an hour with no major challenges. ... show more
