This review is not about me, but I am over 6'2" with a lot of shoulder, chest, and neck, and I am definitely too big for it. I CAN get the strap attached behind me, but it is under a lot of tension. This forces the Shiatsu into my neck with a lot of force. I turned it on and (this might be funny, but I am dead serious) immediately had a flashback of putting bugs into a jar with a praying mantis, wondering what it felt like as he chewed their heads off. It did not chew my head off, but it was unpleasant. I took off the strap and use the loops with my hands. This thing needs a remote or some way of seeing the controls while using. As it is, you blindly tab cyclically through settings, never quite sure what mode, intensity, or warmth you have selected. The modes felt different, but not my much, and you had no way of knowing what was what. In my case, the lower the intensity the better, and that did make a difference. Heat... I could feel some. At this point, I handed it off to the wife. I get that most things are not made for me. Not a problem. My wife likes it quite a lot, finds it soothing and refreshing. The thing we do agree on is that the controls, other than OFF and ON, are a crap shoot. You found settings you like? Nice. Can you find them again next time? Hmmmm.. maybe? This review is based on my wife's experience, and she feels they nailed the massager itself. The controls are a guessing game, and one you can only do by feel while wearing it. Cost it a star, maybe should cost it two.

I received this about an hour ago and I have never left a review on any product before. This feels wonderful! If you lean back into a chair you can get a nice deep massage. It works great on the neck and shoulders but drop it down it feels good on lower back too. I’m never going to get finished cleaning now…

This is a pretty solid choice if you're in the market for a shiatsu style massager. This massager feels sort of similar to someone using their very-hard thumbs to rub your neck. As long as I didn't pull the massager too hard into my neck, I was comfortable. But if you are sensitive, you might want to be very careful with this guy, as the hard "thumbs" definitely have the ability to irritate more than heal. Just be careful how much pressure you use. The heat is a nice touch, too. It never got so hot to be uncomfortable. For me, it felt therapeutic. Overall, I've been happy with my order.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this Morelax neck massager. 2. The current price of ~$55 is reasonable. LIKES: - Massages pretty well. It doesn't get tired either. It will work as long as I need it too. - The handles allow for me to adjust the angle and pressure for the massager. Takes some practice to find the right methods to maximum effectiveness. - The heat is nice, but I have a heating pad the does a much better job. - Well made and good quality. - Good mechanical controls. - USB rechargeable makes this truly portable, or EASY to use in my recliner. DISLIKES: - None.
