I've wanted to try Helium mining for a while and thought this lower-priced miner would be a great place to start. Sadly, I was wrong. I could never get it to pair through Bluetooth to any Helium apps because, as it turns out, this unit will not turn on the internal Bluetooth dongle no matter what you try. I already printed out a return label and will send it on its way today. Save your time and money and choose a better miner from a different manufacturer.

Lets see Arrived and wouldnt update. Had to crack it open and flash the chip because for whatever reason it wouldnt update on its own. Was supposed to have credits on it to onboard into the system - about 50 bucks. It didnt. Contacted Nebra and was told I could wait a while until they could place credits on it, if they could. Or I could expedite it and do it myself. So I did that. Now, it's sitting the window. Not working. When I go on Helium sites, I can find it by it's name. I dont know whats wrong with it and I have kinda reached a "meh" stage with it. I've been actively trying to get this thing going for a month? IDK. If you are really adapt at mining and are up to date on the technology, who knows, it might be a good product. For me, its been an electricity eating dust collector.

DONT BUY from this seller, they are selling boards with old firmware. You will have to work with nebra support to manually flash the board with newer firmware. Also this product did not include onloading credits like most helium miners are supposed to include, so plan on spending an extra 40 to 50 bucks in HNT to get this going. This might be related to the outdated firmware.

I bought three of these Nebra hotspots and all three do not work. The green LED light on the back blinks rapidly several times, stops, and then the cycle repeats. Not able to connect to internet/Helium app. I have a few other hotspots (different brands) and I had those up and running in 5 minutes with no problems. I gave these Nebra hotspots 3 days to get working and none do. There’s no reason to buy the Nebra. Buy another one which will work.

Nebra is selling these advertised as having the onboarding fee paid (40 dollars) except the Nebra has spent all their onboarding money on other projects so you are essentially buying a pi board in a plastic box that WILL NOT onboard onto the network unless you yourself pay the fee from your own wallet. Misleading advertising, they will not onboard the units once made aware of their mistake. Stay away from Nebra, buy pretty much any other unit and you will be fine and mining right away. To recap, Nebra is selling units without onboarding fee (even though they say its paid on the box) so if you buy a new Nebra unit, expect to pay the 40 dollar onboard fee since Nebra just scammed you.

This seller may be fine. But don’t expect ANY help fro Nebra. Nebra would win an award for the least caring and most inept staff in the industry. How with Sensecap or ANYONE other than Nebra. In my opinion as a user of multiple miners. Beverages new meaning to the words WORST MINER.

I purchased a Nebra miner in 2021, and still have not receive it. Regardless of reaching out numerous times with promises it will be sent out next quarter, I am entering 2024 without a miner
