There are brighter lights out there, but I don't think anything brighter than this would be particularly useful for the average person. My son had this exact model and I used his while he was visiting. This is the best flashlight I've ever seen and rechargeable! I ordered from Amazon during their black Friday sale at a great price. My son paid ~$70 for his, not sure where he bought it though. I got a great deal on Amazon. Now I'm not using any of my other half dozen flashlights! We have tried several other rechargeable flashlights and quickly realized that they were not bright enough nor did their batteries last long enough. I bought two of these Nebo Davinci 5000L rechargeable flashlights and last night was a very good test. We were out for two hours at the medium setting and then an additional 30 minutes at full power and the flashlights continued to shine brightly. A friend commented that the light had a great spread of light with full brightness in it's entirety. I highly recommend this particular flashlight as well as the Nebo brand. ... show more
