The media could not be loaded. Great compact flashlight for IT and server room work I’ve been using the WUBEN E7 flashlight while working in server rooms and network closets, and it turned out to be very useful. First thing I noticed is how compact it is. It easily fits in a pocket, but the brightness is impressive for such a small light. The 1800-lumen mode is more than enough to illuminate the back of racks, cable trays, and tight spaces behind equipment. The magnetic base is extremely helpful. I can attach it to the side of a rack or metal cabinet and have both hands free while working with patch panels or switches. For IT or field technicians this feature alone is a big plus. Battery life has been good so far, and the USB-C charging is convenient since I already carry USB-C cables for other devices. The flashlight also feels solid and well built.

Awesome light, super small & definitely worth the buy, it holds charge very well and has 3 different modes if I'm not mistaken, one is low one is super bright and the 3rd is a strong function, I bring this light everywhere i go. As you can tell mines pretty beat hahaha but it works great and it's super strong & magnetic!

Ok once I figured out to double click them to turn on high these things are awesome. It's like having a shop light that fits in your pocket. Good run time too. Brighter, longer run time and more compact than other lights I've spent more money on.

I bought this light after owning Wuben's X-0 for nearly a year. In many ways, this model is an improvement-- cheaper, better switch that doesn't accidentally activate as easily, better pocket clip, toolless removable battery cap, etc. On the other hand, it misses a few things that I'd like to see improved upon. First off, there is no moonlight mode like the X-0. This is sorta big to me, as I'm often using the light in a totally dark bedroom or dorm at the station. Second, mine failed to charge after a month and the battery would drain crazy fast. To Wuben's credit, they sent a replacement that seems to be working fine to this day, but my X-0 has been chugging along without issue for over a year-- maybe I got a lemon. Now here's some general things about this light that makes it a good pick: first, it's a right-angle light, so it can light your work area from a backpack strap or belt. Also, since it has a spring steel clip, it'll easily clip on to a variety of thicknesses. The tail cap magnet is strong-- I use it to hold papers up when typing reports, light up equipment compartments, and even tied cord to the light and lowered it through a storm drain to retrieve dropped keys. The angles on the body allow you to position the light, and it can take regular or rechargable batteries-- the latter of which can be charged in the light with the ubiquitous USB C cable. The light itself is more floody than beamish, which is useful for the majority of EDC work in my opinion.

Well, another purchase where I was not expecting much but am very pleasantly surprised. I got two of these to serve as the go-to for basic household needs and/or as an emergency lighting source. I also wanted a unit like this that had multiple mounting options, including linkage to a headband, to serve as a headlamp. I often need a headlamp for home improvement tasks when the electricity has to be off, or I'm in a crawl space -- these lights mount securely onto a headband, which is great. I also love that the light has a mounting clip, and a magnetic base -- that's very handy. Light output is pretty good. Or, at least, certainly good enough for my needs. The throw isn't amazing, but illumination for a room-sized area is more than adequate. This light would not be the right choice for a "tactical" type use case, where high illumination at long distance is required. One thing that is very slightly disappointing is the fact that the unit is pretty heavy. I'd kinda hoped that the light would be something could use as a headlamp for hiking, back packing, and bike touring. But for those uses it might be considered a bit on the heavy side. On the plus side, though, the weight of the unit is due to its metal construction (which really does feel high quality) and waterproof sealing. The controls, while easy to get used to, are not exactly intuitive. But, then again, it seems like all these sorts of lighting options have their very quirky means of selecting which lighting option you want. It's one click to turn it on, then click-hold to switch to the next highest level. Then another click to turn off. It "remembers" where you had set the next time you turn it on. So if you turn it on in the middle setting, and want the lowest setting, it's on click on, then click-hold, click-hold again. Not super convenient but not the end of the world. I just don't get why they don't simply put a selector switch on these things that allows a person to simply set it where they want it. Considering the very small price paid, I really have no substantive complaints about the light. It's definitely worth it.
